Disneyland in two days and were SICK!!

Oh man. Dh has been sick since Thursday, and I have a nasty cold. Dh's fever has been here up and down. We leave on tuesday!! YIKES!

We are heading to the dr in an hour hopefully its just a cold/flu and its on its last leg.

Ugh. I was sick on our first trip to DL, and 3 of the 4 of us were sick on the last one. No fun!

I feel for ya. DH got sick the day before we left and was sick the entire time we were on vacation. Kinda spoiled the magic for him. At least DS waited until we got home!

We just got back from the dr urgent care, and its Pneumonia! They said with the meds he should feel great in about 48 hrs. SOOO hopefully they are right!! Because that is about when we leave.

I just got called to school because DS had a tick in his arm! Dude! I told him he's not allowed to take any Australian animals out of the country on our trip

haha well I hope everyone is well for the trip!

Dh is resting in the bedroom. I have been kicked out of my room since thursday! Sleeping in a twin bed with my kicking five yr old is not fun.

Dh suggested that if we leave on Wednesday morning instead of Tuesday and leave DL on Monday morning instead of sunday..but one thing we DO NOT have a hotel for Sunday night! I just hope he is feeling well enough to go, and well enough to do Disney during the days!~! I said he could skip the mornings with us since we are doing EE and MTTMM and when we come back for our mid day break if he felt up to it to come then.

Dh's fever is staying down for the night, hopefully tomorrow it will still be down. But the pattern it has is that it seems to go normal then early in the morning it shoots up again! Ugh. But at least he has an Rx to help.

We talked about him staying in the hotel for the morning if he wasn't feeling well. He is feeling a little better, so we will see how tomorrow is and if all is well we will still leave on tuesday night. Lets hope!!

I've been fighting a bad cold but it's starting to get a bit better. The downside is the doctor says I have viral labyrinthitis which is an inner ear infection. The dizziness and vertigo aren't too bad but it will probably give me some issues on many of the rides.

Ok, so I just got off the phone with my dh's boss, who happens to be my brother. He tells me that dh has no work or vacation time!!!! SOOOOOOOOOO since he has been out of work since Thursday the start of the work week for them, he will get NO paycheck on friday! Ugh...

I feel like this trip is falling apart. I threw up this morning. I dont have a fever or even feel sick. I think it was the cold meds I took on an empty belly.

If we didnt go, we still have all our passes, and meal plans but we would lose out on our hotel. and since Dh doesn't have any vacation time, it would be hard to pick up and go during the week. We picked this time because dd has three days off and he had two, he took wed and monday off.

Oh man, this sucks!

Yeah, glad your family is getting better, the only thing worse then being sick before you go is coming down sick while you are there. Two years ago dd got sick the night we arrived, and I got sick a few days later, I thought it was just a bad cold and once we were home I discovered we had step throat. Just take it easy you will have a great trip.
