Hi all! It's official, we're booked for November 11-13 to Disneyland! This is a trip in honor of my mom's 50th birthday, who wants nothing more than to spend her 50th with Disney's 50th! :teeth: Anyone else going in the late fall?

We will just miss you! We will be there the 14th-17th for DD's 4th birthday!! We can't wait! :teeth:

We're going Nov 16-20!!

I'm taking my daughter for her birthday on the 13th or 14th, probably the 14th though, I work weekends. It's my favorite time to go!

:3dglasses

How funny, so many of us going in November, with no overlaps! :flower:

Oooh, I wish it was November right now! The waiting is killing me! :earboy2:

I have a question for anyone who has visited in Nov. before: How are the crowds? and, how hard i it to get a "good" spot for Fantasmic and the fireworks?

I'm sure I've visited in November before when I was a kid... but generally, the crowds are pretty light, pre-Thanksgiving and Christmas.:)

We went on our WDW honeymoon over Christmas week of '03 (Dec. 20-26), and Oh. My. Gawd. It was terrifyingly crowded!

Taking my niece on Nov9-13th. The schools have 2 days off for Veteran's day.
I was just looking to see where I can find out the hours during that time.

Any one know where they are posted??

See ya there! :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

We'll be part of the crowds on 11-15th! I LOVE DL during the holiday months (plus my 40th is a good reason to go... I think!). :goodvibes

Hi all,

My partner and I are from Australia and also travelling to Disneyland in November this year, but due to time constraints we only have two full days to go to the park - Sunday, November 13 and Tuesday, November 15.

I realise the schedule for November is not public yet, but I hear they're similar to late September opening hours, so I took a look at the official calendar on Disney's site. I was surprised to find that there were no fireworks shows and no eletrical parades scheduled for Sunday or Tuesday. :(

This is pretty disappointing to me as I was looking forward to seeing both and had read that Disney would be putting on more shows and parades throughout the 50th year celebrations & not cutting back so much in the off season.

Is anyone in a similar situation? Overall, I'm still excited about the trip and we're really looking forward to it, but this discovery puts a bit of a dampener on it.

I'll be there in November for my first visit to Disneyland. I'm looking forward to seeing how the original compares to WDW and Disneyland Paris.

We are there November 3 - November 5 :earsboy:

Scottish-Helen, I hope you won't be disappointed in Disneyland's size, as compared to Disney World. It is considerably smaller, although I think it's larger than Disneyland Paris (I seem to remember DLP being pretty small, but my memory of it is from 9 years ago). Personally, while I love WDW, I think Disneyland is the absolute BEST of the Disney parks. It's the original! :teeth: Although, I could be biased since it's the one I was raised on.. ;)

We went in November in 1996, so it's been a few years, but it was probably our best trip ever (especially on the Monday we were there.) Waits and crowds were minimal and the weather was pleasant.

Helen,

I haven't been to DL yet, but I have heard that it is about the same size as DLP :)

Have fun

We (my daughter,my mother and myself) will be there from Nov 27 thru Dec 4
7 wonderful nights at the Disneyland Hotel....no wonder it takes a year to save up for this!! :cool1: :cool1: May all our trips be full of Disney magic!

We will be there the 10th through the 13th too! I am still thinking about AP's. Which AP did you purchase and what was the deciding factor? We are thinking about a quick January trip as well and I think AP's would definately be the way to go.

Astroboy. Yes, I am very dissapointed as well. We are staying on a busy Friday for the ELP parade that won't be there. I hope the Fireworks and snow won't be taken away too!
