Disneyland in May

Hey all!

I know Disneyland works on a schedule, but I was just wondering what the best weeks for Disneyland are in May with potentially lower crowds. I know later in May to early June you start fighting with Grad Nights if they still do this, and I am sure Mother's Day would be fairly busy. Otherwise what would you recommend?

I think most any of the weekends in May are likely to be busy. For the past few years, Mother's Day weekend has also been when the Tinkerbell Half Marathon occurred, but they haven't announced the 2018 dates yet. Also, for the last several years, Memorial Day weekend has been the official kick-off to summer, along with being a three-day weekend. I would avoid those two weekends if you were looking for low(ish) crowds. This year, Grad Nites started on May 5. We also don't know if there will be any special ticket deals that might increase attendance in the parks (like it did this year).

For low(ish) crowds, I would probably look towards early May, avoiding the weekends if possible.

Grad nights don't bother me so much as I typically do day trips elsewhere during those days. But I was concerned about Memorial Day. I had no idea about the marathon. I will keep my eyes open for dates on that. Thanks so much
