Disneyland in July

We are now thinking of going to Cali. Disneyland in July. I know that the weather will be hotter and the place will be opened longer since it will be the summer, but what sort of things are there to do? What time are the parades and are there any specials going on at this time of the year?

We went to Cal. Ad. in 2001 and just loved it!
