Is there a recent super thread for the Disneyland Hotel? I can't find it. I'm trying to decide which building I want to request to stay in. Which one is the closest to the parks? Thanks in advance!

I like the Frontier Tower. Rooms a slightly larger, and while it is 30 seconds further than the Adventure Tower, if you are coming back via DCA/The Grand, it is 30 seconds closer at the end of the evening.

I also like the Adventure Tower, but one major issue is if you are on a low floor and facing DTD, the band on the stage by ESPN plays until midnight and can be quite loud.

Frontier tower standard view may include a corner room with a free park view (both parks / fireworks) and frontier pool view high level can view the fireworks.

For this reason, we always request it.

I'll hop on here as I can't find any other threads regarding this either....does anyone have any advice on DLH check-in? I know check-in time is 3:00pm and have heard they pretty much never allow early check-in, and at check-in time the wait can sometimes be an hour or more long. Anyone have any advice or experience with this? Will they let you get into the pool area if you haven't checked in yet?

Yes, you can check in early.

You can check in and park your car as early as 6am on the day of your arrival, you do not need to wait till 3pm "check in time" to physically arrive at the resort...they just probably won't have your room ready till 3pm. They will check you in, valet your car, hold your bags at the bell desk and issue you room keys that give you access to the resort facilities and EMH if you choose that early even though you will not have access to your room just yet. Once your room is ready they will text you your room #.

Very common for folks to arrive early...there have even been sporadic reports of people getting their rooms right away...all depends if Mousekeeping has flipped and released them yet or not but less so recently with occupancy rates being so high.

This! The adventure tower was fine overall and we loved the jungle book music in the lobby- but it was so loud at night due to DTD. I would stay in a different tower next time or at least request a QUIET room. It's not a huge deal for adults but kids need quiet to settle down and rest.

We stayed in the Fantasy tower and thought it was great! Easy access to everything at the resort.

Also, we arrived around 2:00 PM, checked in, and waited for notification of our room to be ready. We got some food and drinks at Tradet Sam's and explored. The room notification came around 4:00 PM.

Loved our stay in Fantasy Tower! It houses the front desk & we felt it was very conveniently located. I requested Fantasy tower because we stay "standard view" and I know there are a limited number of standard view rooms in Adventure tower (most convenient location) so low odds of request right of the bat and Frontier tower is the farthest from DtD (convenience was most important to us). As someone said, they're all pretty close when it comes down to it.

I'll be there November 4th through the 8th with my Mother and daughter.. I requested the Fantasy Tower ... I've stayed in Fantasy and Adventure, either will be fine but I like to be nearby Steakhouse 55 ... Dinner and a few cocktails in the lounge to unwind

Wow, thank you very much for this info, this could be a huge time saver for us! We will definitely give it a go when we are there next week.
