is it worth the money??? hoping to go jan/feb 2012 and will prob be our last trip for a while as we want to go the florida now girls getting older so thought we might spoil ourselves with the disneyland hotel but wondered what perks if any u get from being there and do they have family rooms, 3 adults 2 kids, is it worth the money??

I would say yes if you stay in one of the Castle Club rooms. Otherwise for the cost of the standard rooms at the Disneyland Hotel you could say in one of the Empire State Club rooms in Hotel New York or the on the Admiral's Floor in the Newport Bay Club.

In the normal DLH rooms the only benift you get is the hotels location, its family rooms and the hotel Fastpass.

The Castle Club gives you a VIP Fastpass, a special lift to the park entrace and the it's own reception desk, a private breakfast room and a bar where refreshments and soft drinks are offered the whole day.

A friend recently priced up a stay at the DLH and for the cost, they could have taken two trips to DLP staying at one of the other on site hotels, which is what they did.

For me, it's definitely worth it, because I think it's lovely. If money's tight though, and you would be scrimping elsewhere, then no.

But then, I don't really like staying offsite.

It depends what deals are on too. We're in the HNY this time, because with 40% off we couldn't justify paying double for the DLH. All the Disney hotels are lovely though in my opinion.

They do have family rooms which will accommodate your family. :thumbsup2

As to whether it's worth the money ~ I've not been lucky enough to stay there myself (yet ;) ) but I would like to try it just the once. If you can get a good deal (like 40% off) then it won't be quite so painful! :rotfl:

Is it worth the money?
Yes if you compare it to the other Disney Hotels in the Paris resort. Service is great, very nice rooms, location is very handy, more room aminities, breakfast is way better then in the other hotels, ...
On the other hand all the hotels are overpriced in my opinion. If you compare prices to the off site hotels or Disney hotels in the US they are way too high. But that doesn't stop me from staying in them either. :) We just switch between the different possibilities.
