Hi - we've heard about the renovations being made to the Disneyland Hotel. Have they started yet? and if so, has anyone stayed at the DLH and can report on what effect the work had on your stay ??? Ta.

We booked a standard view and were put in Magic tower on the second floor with a blocked view of the pool (trees). It was a great room. You could see the rooms on the other tower that were being gutted. The glass was completely removed and the walls inside were stripped bare. The newly completed rooms do not have sliding glass doors any longer. They are entirely glass, but do not open. The remodeling effort seems to be working from the top down.

We had some issues with the toilet in our room, and they offered to move us. My husband asked if it would be an upgraded room, and they said that they were completely booked (last week). We chose to stay in our room and deal with the toilet since it had such a nice view. :)

Best wishes for a great trip!

We were there last week and we stayed in the Dreams tower which is where the work is being done. We were at the end of the hall nearest to the Magic tower. We never heard any noise or construction and we did come back during the day for naps or swimming. Enjoy your stay!

That is good to know, thank you!
