Disneyland Hotel undergoing 2 year major refurbishment

I apologize if this has already been posted but I received word from DLP today that the Disneyland Hotel will be undergoing major refurbishment for 2 years. We had reservations for last year and moved them to this year. I asked if we could move them to 2022 and was notified that the hotel will not be reopening before 2023. We are disappointed.

Its the last hotel to undergo the refurbishment so not surprised its happening now, seeing as Art of Marvel has been completed

The plan was to have it ready before the 30th anniversary, I believe. But if there are things postponed due to less revenu due to covid, not surprised it is this delay. Now that Marvel is open, they can use that as their cash cow.

Yes, with the hotel being closed, also the restaurants in the hotel are closed.
It could be you are lucky with your dates, we do not have a reopening date yet, so I wouldn't rule out eating at Inventions yet.
The 30th anniversary is on the 12th of April, to have the hotel ready before that, who knows... it could happen
