Has anyone done this? I've seen pictures and reviews online, but I'd love to get opinions from people on the board. My girls and I love going to tea, and we have been to quite a few places. I thought this might be fun, but not sure it's worth it.

I took my daughter here for her 9th birthday. She loved it! She enjoyed the food and being a little fancy!

We've gone several time. Even my 26yo Aspie daughter loves it. She usually gets the children's tea. The scones are fantastic! Love the tea sandwiches. If you see a sandwich you don't, just ask them to sub another one. (I don't like salmon, so I ask for the kid's turkey sandwich to be swapped for it.) It is an afternoon tea, not a high tea. And it isn't Disney'ed. We have done regular tea, Halloween, and Christmas Tea (did it twice it was so good.) My favorite tea is the Red Bush Caramel. We usually go thru about 3-4 different teas.

A couple hints... 1. Ask for your first tea as soon as you see your server, before you order. 2. As soon as you are finishing your second cup in the pot, request your next tea. And 3. Order an iced tea you can take as you leave! We like the Mountain Berry for this.

Yes, the Premium tea is a great deal for adults. For $15 more than the classic, you get a glass of Fairy Tale (normally $17!) and a salad and a little box of truffles.

Oh I love tea time: I have done several "high teas" all over, as well as DLH. We did ours in December 2016. The service/staff was wonderful. Very knowledgeable of the teas and we all love the décor of SH55: but the food was marginal at best. for example, the tea sandwiches were literally stuck to the plates; I'm sure they prepped many "food tower" earlier and that is why the stuck to the plates. Loved the scones/cream and lemon curd!!
We did the premium package: LOVED the choc covered strawberries for their holiday decorations as well.
Would I do this for the first time YES: would I go back again, probably not. If you and your DD love having tea; you will enjoy this!! GO FOR IT!!!

This looks like so much fun. I've already booked but now I'm wondering if my kids are too young. They are 2.5yo DS and 5.5 yo DD. Is this appropriate for them or is it for older kids? Also, we will be wearing our park attire of shorts and/or jeans/leggings. Is that ok ? I didn't see these issues addressed in the description or blogs. Thanks in advance.

Most people were in VERY CASUAL wear during tea time. They cater to the smaller kids as well. There is a "kid specific" menu for the littler one's. They are also very quick with the service; not much wait time between ordering/serving etc. The dessert side your kiddo's will love; maybe not the "Trout mini tea sandwich". You and your kids will be fine~ don't worry and have fun!!

Ok. Thank you! We already have reservations for plaza inn and ariels grotto character meals so I was alsworried that adding this third reservation would be Overkill.
One more question: am I still paying for my two year old or is he free?
