Disneyland Hotel Suite Building?

I believe they are in the Adventure Tower...that is where we were taken when looking a 1 & 2 bedroom suites. They were at the ends and had a small, but nice balcony.

The Frontier tower has the suites that have a balcony. All 3 towers have suites (1, 2, and 3 bedroom.) We have stayed in all 3 towers in a suite. My favorite was probably the Frontier tower, because of the balcony. The Frontier Tower has suites at the end, and in the middle of the tower. The end suites are usually used as a 3 bedroom when needed.

My family is staying in a 3 bedroom suite at DLR. Do you have any advice on room requests other than asking for the Frontier tower?

Frontier Tower is definitely the best, as is being on the top floor with a pool view in said tower (as this view also gets you all the way to the fireworks). I was in a 1 BR suite on floor 12 or 13 (can't remember exactly, but it was as high up as you could be with a 1BR suite) and this was the view I got: small firework.jpg small hotel 1.jpg small hotel 2.jpg

Sorry for taking over your thread Plutos1fan.

Did you have to pay for a "view" room or is that just what all the suits get?

We have stayed in suites in both the Frontier and Adventure towers and I understand that they also have suites in the Fantasy tower but we have not stayed in that one. As Malon10t pointed out, my understanding (and experience) is also that the suites can be located in any of the towers on any of the floors, and unlike the rooms, are assigned based on the bedding type needs etc. The coroner suite in the Frontier tower that wraps around the side of the building and pool (14th floor) is nice because you have great views. But my least favorite room was also in that tower toward the other end and a parking lot view about 5th floor. We like the Adventure tower best because we like to add on the "club" lounge for our stays. Just make your requests in the order of importance because they will try and fill them that way so if a view is most important ask for that first rather than a specific tower....have a great trip -- we LOVE the Disneyland Hotel and the suites are very nice.

That was what we got with no requests put in and no extra fee. It was the standard 1BR suite rate. I think it's mostly luck of the draw.

Thanks guys! I've been wondering what makes someone prefer one tower over the rest. It sounds like maybe the best plan is asking for the best view possible. We'd love to see the fireworks from our room since the kids will be asleep well before they start.
