Disneyland Hotel, special theme park entrance use?

I know that Paradise Pier and the Grand Californian have private entrances into California Adventure. I was wondering if guests of the Disneyland Hotel are ever able to use those entrances? Or do they have any special perks to get into Disneyland that the other two hotels don't offer?

I'm not really sure. I know that the GCH entrance has a sign that it is for hotel guests, but they don't enforce it, at least not that I've seen. We quite often go to eat at GCH and then go in to DCA through this entrance and never had a problem, even with our APs.

Never tried to enter through the Paradise Pier entrance, but I'm guessing that if they required you to show some sort of proof, that DLH hotel info would work, again, I'm not sure though.

They do say the DLH can use monorail, but here too they don't limit it to just those staying at DLH. I've often used the monorail from here to enter the park.

We have also used the GC entrance when not staying there.

For the PP entrance you have to use your room key to get in - so I'd say PP guests only on that one - but then if you are staying at the DL hotel it wouldn't make much sense to go all the way over to that entrance anyway.

I recently heard that the PP entrance to DCA is permanently closed.

The back entrance was open in July- That ones is Card only so I assume that its for PP only- As for the GC- After park open (think its an hour or so later) it becomes for all use (Ive used it multiple times)

As of Sept 7 (I think that's the date) the PP entrance to DCA will be closed. The memo to CMs stated that all guest of the resort hotels may use the GC entrance to DCA.

My guess is prob budget cuts. I never saw the area busy at all and they prob found out that it wouldnt be that much of a loss to close it and transfer people over to the GCH enterance
