Disneyland Hotel Reservations and Discounts

We are hoping our next trip will be to Disneyland in fall 2025. We have not been before. Does anyone know any of the following:
1) When do reservations for the next year open up?
2) Does DL also have Disney+ and card holder discounts to watch for throughout the year? Any certain time of year? I want to catch that for sure.
3) Any recommendations for room request areas at DL Hotel? I have my heart set on that hotel.

Hi I’m bumping this back up. I heard that dates for next year are often released in August but I’m also eager to know what discounts might be available at DLH.

Reservations for 2024 were opened in August 2023. There has not been an announcement yet about 2025, but it will likely be sometime later this month.

As for discounts, that is entirely based on DL's anticipated visitation. They typically don't announce anything like hotel promotions until a few months in advance. Yes, DL does offer Disney Visa discounts, but not all the time. You will have to be watching announcements next spring/summer.

Best thing to do is book DLH, then try to modify if they end up offering a discount later. Fall is one of the busiest times of year now at DLR, so they may not offer any kind of discount. The discounts typically only apply Mon-Thurs if they have any at all.

If referring to the Chase card, there is a running list of discounts. Here is the summer discount currently Summer Savings 2004

Like Ollie said, best to book when you need to and apply the discount at a later date if one becomes available. We have done that on a couple of trips.

Have stayed in all the DLH towers and wouldn’t recommend Frontier. Location, traffic, the condition was a No for us.
