Ok, I may switch to the DLH because it does seem amazing.

However, questions:

First, is there self parking or do you have to do valet?

Second, is there free internet? Wired or wireless?

Finally, do they get the very basic TF1 french TV channel in the rooms? Family needs it to watch F1 race on the weekend.

Thanks!!!

I can only answer the second question... No free internet. You can pay (10 euros for 3 hours, or you can buy by the hour, but we never did that.) Wireless is available in the lobby and I think by the Fantasia bar? If you give a 30 euro deposit at reception, they'll give you a cable you can use in your room. That's what we did... no problems getting the cable and no problem getting the deposit back.

Wow, for such an expensive hotel, even the cabled internet is a charge huh? That is turning me off a bit from staying here as I do need to stay connected a bit.

Appreciate that you filled me on this. Thanks!

What are the Hotel Fast Passes regular guests receive?

I find it interesting how it seems so much less is documented about DLP. It's all a bit of a mystery. haha. :)

Many thanks.

I'm thinking now the price I gave you was wrong... I think it was 3 euros for an hour and then you could buy a card for 3 hours too. I don't still have all of my hotel receipts...so I can't look it up. It IS less per hour to buy 3 hr card. In any case, no, it's not cheap!

The fastpasses are specially printed for hotel guests - they're dated, so you can only use them on the date on the ticket. They'll allow you to enter any fastpass ride line. Having a hotel fastpass has no relation to having the fastpasses issued at the park - completely separate processes. Quite handy on days where the wait for rides is over an hour!

Disney have partnered with Orange Wifi to provide wireless internet access in all their hotels. I used the service when we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel. They offer the following options (details available here):
1 hour of Wireless Broadband Internet connectivity to be used within 30 consecutive days from first log-in - EUR 4.50
24 hours of Wireless Broadband Internet connectivity to be used within 24 hours from first log-in - EUR 9.90
3 hours of Wireless Broadband Internet connectivity to be used within 30 consecutive days from first log-in - EUR 10.00
10 hours of Wireless Broadband Internet connectivity to be used within 30 consecutive days from first log-in - EUR 15.00
50 hours of Wireless Broadband Internet connectivity to be used within 90 consecutive days from first log-in - EUR 50.00

As for the F1, if it isn't available in the hotel isn't there a Sports Bar in Disney Village.

There is a least one sporting channel (I think Eurosport) as I remember watching a lot of the Olympics last year while we were there. French commentary obviously.

If you just want to used the wired internet, from the wall, like with an ethernet cable you pack, it's the same fees? Or is the charge only on wireless?

THanks.

Same fees, only you need to give them a 30 euro deposit for the cable (they'll put it on the bill) and then they'll credit it back to you when you return the cable. If you bring your own cable, I imagine you could avoid that hassle entirely.

Thanks, yes I usually take a cable with me when I travel. Amazing though that a hotel that gets as much as $1000 per night for standard rooms charges for Internet, when hotels just outside disney grounds that charges 80 euros a night gives you all the wifi or wired internet you desire, for free.

They have to drain us every way possible. ha-ha. :) I'm glad I'm prepared now.
