Hi,

Does anybody know what the difference between the preferred and standard view rooms at the Disneyland Hotel? What is the view- the parks? Are the preferred view rooms in a certain tower?

Thanks.

Standard View is a "parking lot" view. I still think of the 3 DLH towers by their old names, they have recently renamed them. I'm using the old names in what follows. Iin the Marina tower, standard view looks toward Ball Road to the North (i.e., you look towards the DLH parking lot with Disneyland to the right; in the Bonita tower, standard view looks toward Katella to the South (i.e., standard view looks toward the Parking Lots & City View to the South). Preferred View in the Marina and Bonita towers looks toward the Neverland Pool. Preferred View in the Sierra tower looks toward either the Neverland Pool on one side & Downtown Disney on the other. I've stayed in both the Marina (standard view) & Sierra (preferred view) towers and acutally preferred the standard view in the Marina tower. In the standard view room, we actually watch DL fireworks from the balcony more than once. The pool view is very nice too, however.
