I am toying with staying at the DLH because I have the wonderful Visa points. How is the pool in December?:santa: Heated or freezing? Is there a hot tub? Can't decide if it's worth it to splurge or not. I have 200 visa points that were giving to me, plus what I might have on my own card so I could have as many as 250. PPH is cheaper but I like the idea of the peter pan pool as long as it's warm enough in Dec

I cant say for sure if the pool is heated but have heard it is, they do have a very cool hot tub modeled as mermaid lagoon right next to the water slide

The pool is heated. In fact we have swam there in both Decemer and January. The air was cold but the water was warm. It does have a very large hot tub (far larger than the PPH hot tub), better food and drink options at the pool and the Peter Pan theme. The PPH has the cool slide which is very fun. But I much prefer DLH all the way around.

The DLH also has a quiet pool called the Cove Pool back by the athletic club and laundry room (back corner of the resort). That pool was also heated and we swam in it in January too. I love that separate quiet pool, its very low key. PPH has no quiet pool. The hours for the Cove Pool are a bit more limited (it closes at 7:00 vs.the Neverland Pool's 10:00 p.m. closing).

We were there last Thanksgiving and I thought the Peter Pan pool was way too cold - there weren't many people in it.

The 2 Cove pools though were super warm - and deserted. I love it back there.

Even when we went a few weeks ago, we swam in the Cove pools. Way less crowded!
