Disneyland Hotel in July

Heigh-ho!

We are going to Disneyland in July for 2 nights and staying at the Disneyland Hotel...
From the looks of it, construction will be starting, what tower would be the one to avoid?

We will be staying in a standard room.

I am going to assume there will be a lot of complaints going on, so do you think Disney will discount any rooms? Or do anything to "make up" for the construction?

Personally, doesn't bother me, but just curious.

I wouldn't bank on any discounts since the construction of the new hotel has been a known project since last Fall. Based on where it is being built, the Adventure tower seems like the most likely to be affected though the Fantasy tower is also adjacent the new hotel.

Have fun whichever tower you end up in!

The DLH is not under construction itself, it is new buildings adjacent to it. Disney does a pretty good job of minimizing impact and inconvenience to guests during projects, I don’t think you’ll have an issue. You won’t be able hear anything but save for maybe excessive jackhammering through your windows.

I don’t understand people who complain about things like that and expect compensation. What would they have them do, shut down the whole resort until it’s done? You know there are major projects going on, and can always postpone your trip or choose a different hotel if you just don’t want to see it.
