Breakfast at the DLH is so far removed from a scrum you will not believe it.
It is VERY civilised.
You line up (if necessary - not always) whenever you choose to, no slots here. A nice lady checks your pink card or takes your room number, and takes you to a table. Table has white linen and napery, and silver flatware. Cups, glasses etc already on the table. You can sit either in the CG or Inventions, food and service identical in either.
Another waitress arrives to pour you coffee or tea. Then the juice waitress arrives (actually, maybe this is not the case any more, don't remember this from last trip).
You get up, wander to the servery, take your choice of lots and lots of yummy things. Waitress arrives to see if you want more coffee. Your dirty dishes are cleared as you finish with them. You go back up to get a bit of fruit or whatever to take with you, and then amble off back out of the restaurant.
No Scrum Here, no sirree. It is one of the (lots of) reasons we love the DLH. I do like a bit of finery to start the day.
