Disneyland Grad Nite

Our homeschool group still has space available if any high schoolers want to join us for Grad Nite on June 21 or 22. Must be between ages 14 and 20. This is mostly homeschoolers going, but we know some public high schools don't participate so you're welcome to come with us.

Grad night tickets are hoppers that are valid from park opening to closing and includes 2 special Fastpasses.....at 11:00pm Disneyland closes to the public and the private Grad Nite party begins. There is a special showing of Fantasmic!....."Grad Nite Explosions" fireworks, meet and greets, and more. Grad Nite party ends at 3:00am.

Yes we are going Thursday, June 21 and Friday, June 22....the last two Grad Nites. It does seem much later than previous years, but we're happy about it because it's AFTER the new CARSLAND opens, so we will get to go on the new Radiator Springs ride and see all the rest of the new stuff. Very exciting that the timing worked so nicely!

I've had a couple of PMs asking about parents....sorry should probably have included that in the original post. Students ages 14-20 and chaperones over age 25....same price, $61 for all day hopper and the private evening grad night from 11pm to 3am in DL. Tickets also include 2 Fast Passes that allow you to not have any wait time in between them. Special showing of Fantasmic!, special "Grad Nite Explosions" firework show, dance parties, and a lot more. Deadline to register and pay is May 4.

You can go to one or both of the dates (Thursday June 21 or Friday June 22)

Thanks, we had to jump a lot of hurdles to get in on this, so we're pretty sure there are a lot of homeschoolers (and public schoolers whose school doesn't participate) that are wishing they could go. Reaching them has been tough, but we've gotten several through disboards. Hoping for even more. This is the first and probably only year that they are doing this format.....typically grad nite starts at closing time and the private grad party goes all night until dawn. This year the kids get the run of both parks (with the public) during the day and then a shorter private party (11pm to 3am). Park Hoppers and a private party for $61 is pretty awesome....throw in the special stuff they have planned for the grads and it's magical!

Disney has already said that 2013 will be DCA only.

This year begins the new format where parties go from 11pm to 3am. I've seen Disney state this is for 2012 and 2013 but not that it will change after these two year. Have you seen different?


Also Disney says it won't be DCA only in 2013. It says the private party at the end of the night will be at DCA but they will include park hoppers for the day just like this year.

This was my understanding as well.

All I can go by is the information provided on the official Disneyland Grad Nite website, which says this:

Beginning in 2013, the Grad Nite Private Party will move to Disney California Adventure® Park where Seniors will enjoy all the newest offerings including an exclusive World of Color viewing and the new Cars Land.​

And in the original packet of information they sent us it talks about how the park hoppers are a special offering for this year. Maybe when they sent us this back in January they hadn't finalized whether they were going to do hoppers next year as well. Can you provide a link or something where you saw the hoppers were next year?
