Disneyland Girls Only Trip thread

Hmmm...I don't mind where you post it, Beth. I think the Dis Meets Board would be a good place then we can continue to chat here as long as the mods allow it OR if you want to start a new chat thread...that would be cool, too!

I do have a question....when you say Oct-ish---is that 2008 or 2009?

Well, it's for next years trip, so that would be '09. Which isn't to say some mini meets won't be planned along the way, like the one we have going on in June.

I will already be there the first part of October '08 so if anyone wants to meet up then we can. But I'll be with the whole family so I couldn't do a Girls Only Trip then.

I think it was Linda who said if we went with the late Feb/early March dates for the next big trip, that's only like 9 months away. Not too bad. But I can go with whatever wins in the poll.

I'm going to post the poll on the DIS Meets board, and then once we can get new dates, I'm going to start a new planning thread here. I hope we can get lots of new ladies to join us!

I tried to use pics that had already been posted, or that were flattering of everyone. If anyone objects to any of the pics in there, please just let me know and I will remove it.

I am amazed how that color of brown of the diva t-shirts really seems to flatter everyone. We look good. Did Steph's ever surface!!

Oh, speaking of Steph. Steph and Katie ended up providing the tip for Ryan following our VIP tour. Somehow that thought had never crossed my mind in the fun of the day.

So,if anyone on the tour wants to reimburse Steph or Katie....let them know. Both Stacie and I belatedly chipped in. (others may have as well!!).

Okay...maybe I need to take this voting for the best time more seriously. Feb is out for me as I always go to a veterinary conference in Ohio making the DH mind kid and pets for 5 days!!

Well 9 months or more, should give you plenty of time to work on your DH. We still have the stripper shoes in storage if you need them.

Oh good! I'm glad you are rethinking it!
When in Feb is your conference? Could you do the late Feb or early March? We want as many from the original trip to come as possible.

Those shirts did look great, although I'm not sure what ever happened with Steph's.

It varies by year, but those are generally around the dates!!

I loved the "Just a tad damp". I probably would have liberated the saying they have on the Tshirts they sell at WDW for this ride... Dry is not an option. At least yours is original!!

Grumpyvet - I suggest you do the Girls trip next year and go to the vet thing in Orlando. Hey, I will even volunteer to help with your lugage to Orlando. Thats just the kind of gal I am!
