Juat got back from the red eye. My hubby missed me so so so much :goodvibes said he just felt lost without me awe :lovestruc

Well we got to LAX and it was very disorganized. They had no one looking after scooter check ins. Told us to wait and forgot about us. It was very frustrating. But the bonus was that because the girl knew we were not getting the help we required. We got bumped up to executive class. Yup for free :) Made sleeping so much better :)

As some of you know my scooter decided to have tempermetal issues. Would decided not to start which put a damper on some of the trip. Well at least it got me through the whole trip. Once in Toronto is would not start at all:confused3 So the they pushed my scooter all the way through the airport :lmao:

I had a great time. Really enjoyed Disneyland. Looking forward to next year. Yes sign me up. Ready to go now.

I have to say it I think I enjoyed Disneyland more than Disney World.:thumbsup2

Ruth -
Sorry to hear about your trouble with scooter. :sad1: It certainly got a workout over the past several days.
I really enjoyed meeting you and spending time with you and Shelley. I realize now that I have another shopping buddy for next trip. I think between the two of us we did a fair amount of damage!! :guilty:

Woo Hoo! It would be a fun day! I love Newport Beach, or Santa Monica perhaps, go see the Pier? And South Coast Plaza is great - I can get lost there really easily! Plus there is always the Grove in Hollywood, and the Farmers Market, plus Hollywood itself is pretty entertaining. I'd be up for anything!

All of those are great ideas--guess I would leave it up to the "out-of-towners" and we would just chauffer and play tour guide!

Hey there! We'd love to have you join us. Did you make it on this last one? I was only there one day so I'm not sure who all was able to make it over after all, and who wasn't.

ETA: Nevermind! I remember now. You were there but weren't able to track anyone down I think....

No I didn't see anyone. :sad2: I was with my DD, DS & 2 nephews as well as my brother and his "friend" on Sat. On Sunday it was just myself and my kidos. Crazy two days!
It'll be great to spend some adult time at the park.
Although, my dd did tell me I am the biggest kid she knows. :dance3:

It was wonderful to meet everyone! I know I didn't get to formally meet each and every one of you, but what a wonderful group of people!!
Hi Lauren. I heard about what a great day you had, especially getting to see Wicked. That's great. Good luck getting back into work mode.

But still, next time if there are girls who are blocked out on a day, we can organize a non-park day.
I'd be up for that. Shopping would be fun with a group of us.

Chris: even though I have a PAP, I wouldn't mind doing a non-park day either with the gals. So if you need another car (maybe Newport Beach excursion or (horrors) South Coast Plaza?) let me know!
I like Newport Beach. That would be fun too.

Just wondering why we all can not just stay in Disneyland?
Ah, that would be nice! Welcome back!

Well you're in good company then! I think we are all just big kids.

Steph, I just wanted to say thanks for posting all those pics in the Shutterfly account! They all came out great.

And Sarah, thanks for posting yours too.

I can't wait to see more......:yay:

Fun pics, Jen! That red poncho is just sooooo attractive!:rotfl: And it didn't even keep me dry! How ever did I get so soaked?

It was great to be in the same tour group with you. Are you going to DLR in May for the DVC members meet? Hope to see you again!

Count me in as another who wouldn't mind doing a non park day. I'm just down the street so I have no probs with playing tour guide either. Maybe I could get Ryan to help me out and give me tips if I needed. I do have some blackmail pics of him.;)

Hey Stace!
I got the pics too!!! :rotfl2:

OH, and no fair, you guys could get a job at Hooters! Guess I need to get me one of them "Miracle Bras".....hoist 'em up and out!!!

My shirt just accentuated the back fat!!! I was surprized it didn't become build a bear size in the wash. With a little creative stretching, I could wear it again!!!

Amy

hahaha..you remembered right..I feel special :woohoo:

:rotfl2: OMG, your tag. Too Funny. You had to be there to see her slip/fall off the bed. I have NO IDEA how you ladies slept through all the laughter that night. You s must have been really tired in Room 415! Who knew that 2.5 bottles of wine between 4 s could make them all so giddy.:rolleyes1
who drank wine? not me..hehe :rolleyes1 but yeah..those beds are really slippery..hahaha..if I didn't step on my shoe I wouldn't have fallen/slipped off..lol..all I did was step down and my foot landed on my shoes..which fell over when I stepped down on it..and there I went..nothing to grip on cuz it was coming down with me :rotfl:

I'm glad we were able to entertain you! Sorry I missed when you rolled off the bed. Was glad to get to meet you. It was fun visiting with you and your mom that evening. As you noticed, once I have an audience who will laugh with me (or at me), I just can't stop!!!! Everything seemed to strike me funny that night!! :rotfl:
hahaha..it was nice meeting you too..and everyone there..yeah that night was fun..I wonder why everything struck you as funny though

Chris, is that a new tag?

I have a 'modified' tag - Looking for stitch but found Huck Springs. (I have quite a reputation for getting lost - but generally not in Disneyland)
It was a reference to the DIS Divas' first Mouse Adventure. Huck Springs was the answer to one of the quests and we criss-crossed the park going back and forth from Main St. to Tom Sawyers Island looking for Huck Springs. We were on Tom Sawyers Island, dejected and needing to turn in our Mouse Adventure package to be graded when we noticed that above the drinking fountain right near the TSI Raft loading area were the words "Hucks Spring". We all nearly died laughing. We had only walked by it at least a dozen times.

The tag fairy was just having some fun with that reference. Nothing to do with this trip - unless the tag fairy thought that the Champagne and wine we enjoyed in room 417 was a Huck's Springs equivalent.

I don't think any amount of creative stretching could get me in that shirt again. And don't worry, I think all of us were sporting the back fat.

*sigh* I don't think we'll ever forget Huck's Springs..hahaha..we passed it so~ many times and when we finally found it..after Mouse Adventure ended..we were just like "...wow..that's sad"..lol

Good Morning all! I am off to teach preschool!:teacher:

One question before I forget.... Is anyone local to disney that can help me with a couple items I forgot to buy.:confused3 I could mail a check and have you shop any time that works for you. I dropped the ball on a couple things I was to buy.:guilty:

Have a GREAT day ladies!

Oh, I see. That's funny, although I'm sure at the time it was frustrating too. That Mouse Adventure sounds really cool!

You are a pre-school teacher? How fun. I used to want to do that. Then I had four of my own and changed my mind. :lmao:

I'm sorry I'm not local (I wish!) otherwise I'd be happy to help out. If you want to wait until June I can get something for you then, but that's a while to wait.

Good morning ladies!! I hope you all have a great day. :cool1:

Good Morning Ladies!!

I haven't had much of a chance to catch up since I got home, but I wanted to mention a few things.

First of all. I really enjoyed meeting you all. But I wish I had scheduled more than 3 things to do with you guys. I did Jazz, VIP and the Wine reception, and that just wasn't enough to get to know you. Next time I will plan more!!!!!!! :goodvibes

The VIP tour was my highlight. Thankyou Lesley! :cloud9:

I love my T-shirts! Thankyou Capri and Callie!!!

And last but not least.................I wish the Hyenas didn't have the stigma of being famous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are just a bunch of ladies that got kicked off the regular DL boards cuz we talked too much over here. I hope that we didn't seem too cliqueish to you. I never wanted to give you all that feeling. That is the reason I wish I had done more stuff with everyone. I hope that the next time I can!!! Please come and chat with us sometime!!

Melody:hug:

Good morning, ladies!

I love seeing all the great pictures some of you are posting. I wish I didn't have to cancel my plans for the ladies meet...darn the IRS! LOL. I am onboard for June and keeping my fingers crossed for the next year's trip.:cool1:

A bit of topic:
Did any of you fly into LAX and use the Disneyland Express? I am just curious how long it took to get to DL...I am using them for my solo trip in June and I am nervous about transportation.

I hope you all have a great day and keep the stories and pics from the meet coming!popcorn:: It makes me feel like I was there (eh, sort of, LOL).
