Disneyland Girls Only Trip thread

I had so much fun meeting up with everyone, and the tour was GREAT!! Heck. Everything but the heat was great.

sounds like Everyone had a great time. I managed to slip over to DL on Sunday but I didnt get to meet any of the other ladies like i had hoped. Maybe next time it will work out so I can do some of the ladies only events and stay longer than a day. I had fun going commando on the rides though without the kiddos!

Wish I would have been at some of the dinners the days before though so I could have met you all esp the other ladies from AZ!!!

Anyway, loving all the pictures.

Well, anyone who happens to be there May 25-29 should find us.

From what I read so far it sounds like there will be enough there to make your own little mini meet in May too!!

You weren't the only one. I think about 10 or more ladies were total confused about who I was. And then when they found out who I was, they also thought I had short hair from my picture. Does this look more like me :

Wooohoooty! I just got my flights switched over to June. And it was $100 cheaper!! YeaH!

Now, I just have to figure out a way to get my cheap Hojo rate in June...I think it is too late.

I am soooo excited to be going to DL so soon!! AND getting to meet some awesome ladies!

ooooooo BOOO! My in-laws are coming to visit that weekend, our plans do not include a Disneyland day as they did that last time. It will be a hectic time as we are moving the next week back to MN.

All the more reason why you'll need to take a break and go to Disney.

Hey there! We'd love to have you join us. Did you make it on this last one? I was only there one day so I'm not sure who all was able to make it over after all, and who wasn't.

I am SO glad that I didn't plan to do the park on Saturday. Oh, how much I HATE hot!! Makes me even more grumpy and touchy than normal!!!

My next visit is May 23, the kid has the day off to do the school day at Knotts. Knotts-shmotts, I'm going to DL. Our annual passes expire June,3 and fear with our planned trip to WDW in December, might not be able to justify the money....

Oh, I am full of whining. Maybe it is all the laundry/ironing I have been doing today.

I do like my tag...got a great photo of Dale's rump after he and I waltzed at Goofy's kitchen!!!

I love June Gloom! We ( 6-8 college kids) will probably be at Disneyland sometime the beginning of the first week of June. I'm thinking Wednesday June 4th, smack dab in the middle of the week oughta be good.

I am hoping for some June gloom for our trip as well.

I'm so very tired. The red-eye is not my friend. I slept for 7 hours when I got home this morning.

I had lots of fun meeting you girls. I appreciate MamaKate trying to call me about the Dream FastPasses. I was on ToonTown Spin. Lauren and I did manage to win a Dream yesterday. Don't get too excited or jealous yet girls. We were coming off Indiana and there is the Dream Team. Guess what they were handing out........Extra hour of park time at DL on Monday night--when I should be waiting at the airport. Good thing they make a great souvenir

Just got home!!! Thanks for the great time ladies! Was wonderful meeting you all!

OMG, your tag. Too Funny. You had to be there to see her slip/fall off the bed. I have NO IDEA how you ladies slept through all the laughter that night. You girls must have been really tired in Room 415! Who knew that 2.5 bottles of wine between 4 girls could make them all so giddy.

At this point, we "may" be helping my parents move from MN to Tucson, but I'm still in a wait and see mode. I will go if I can.

Yes the kids will be with me. They have a 4 day weekend for Memorial day so I'm only working a 1/2 day on Friday. The main purpose of my trip is to go to the DVC members event.

Oh yes. But it's Boy's b'day. If only I had realized Mem Day was coming up when my midwives were getting twitchy about my long labor and forcing things to speed up. If I had realized that everyone just wanted to go on their Mem Day trips coming up, I would have stopped doing what everyone was forcing on me and hid in a closet for another week!

And then I wouldn't have to deal with a b'day that no one can EVER go to. And I can't even switch him to a half-birthday celebration, b/c that puts us right there at Thanksgiving, a celebration WE do not partake in (it's boring being veggie then) but every last one of our friends and relatives do!

Which leads us to Disneyland for his 4th, and probably a cruise for his 5th.

About our Friday t-shirts......what, don't girls want to look like they work at Hooters while touring Disney?!?! Most girls pay plastic surgeons big bucks to look like that, and I provided you with nice Disney "D" cups for the low, low price of $11.84!

I guess I did look more like a Hooter's girl than I wanted to. I just wished that mine looked liked "D" instead of the true size they are. Talk about having the girls be 3D!

It sounds like we'd have alot to talk about! Are you and Michelle taking the kids on 5/9? DD and I would love to tag along then if that's okay.

The kids will be with, or at least some of them. Zoe for sure, probably Ethan, less likely Riley.

It was wonderful to meet everyone! I know I didn't get to formally meet each and every one of you, but what a wonderful group of people!!

Thank you to Dagny for inviting me along, to Shelley for being my 'roomie', to Chris for spending Saturday with me. That was awesome!!, and to Jill for our shopping trip!! I always love spending time with you ladies.

And a big thank you to all of you who planned the tours, meal seatings, tshirts, etc... It was a really great trip!!

I arrived home this morning and today was pretty much a useless day. didn't sleep much on the plane, there was medical emergency with one of the passengers that kept everyone a little on edge for the last two hours of my flight to Boston. Never heard exactly what happened but the plane was met at the gate by EMTs.

Heading back to work tomorrow will be very tough! I'm sad just being home.

Amy, I'm so sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you - and we're practically neighbors since we're both in San Diego County. I was asking around to see if anyone wanted to do a non-park day on Saturday, but everyone I talked to seemed gun-ho to do the parks. I bit the bullet and upgraded to a Premium Pass, but when Lauren wanted to go to Hollywood, I was delighted to go with her. I knew about the lottery for discount Wicked tickets and although we didn't get the $25 tickets, we did get great 1/2 price tickets. We had wonderful seats for $45, which admittedly was more than the block out ticket. We had a great time enjoying Hollywood and watching Wicked in air conditioned comfort!

But still, next time if there are girls who are blocked out on a day, we can organize a non-park day.

I'm glad we were able to entertain you! Sorry I missed when you rolled off the bed. Was glad to get to meet you. It was fun visiting with you and your mom that evening. As you noticed, once I have an audience who will laugh with me (or at me), I just can't stop!!!! Everything seemed to strike me funny that night!!

Just wondering why we all can not just stay in Disneyland? Such a happy place.... (although I do prefer the weather man holds the temp in the upper 70's low 80's with a slight breeze )
We came back last night and were instantly greeted with what us Washingtonians call liquid sunshine. (Rain!) So strange to come off a plane ride only 2 hours away and have the temp drop close to 50 degrees!
Wish our family trip would have let me spend more time with you ladies but I am glad that I did get to meet many of you even for a short time. Next time I will fly solo!! Speaking of.... I was a full time travel agent before my oldest was born and I still dabble a bit on the side. If I can be of any help planning feel free to give me a holler!
For now I look forward to getting to know more of you in this wonderful cyber world!

Woo Hoo! It would be a fun day! I love Newport Beach, or Santa Monica perhaps, go see the Pier? And South Coast Plaza is great - I can get lost there really easily! Plus there is always the Grove in Hollywood, and the Farmers Market, plus Hollywood itself is pretty entertaining. I'd be up for anything!
