Disneyland Girls Only Trip thread

I just wanted to check-in and subscribe to the new thread (I was wondering why I wasn't getting notifications ).

I started to get a little sick over the weekend so I'm still a little worn out today . I'm also very swamped at work, but I'm sooo tired it's hard for me to concentrate.

I did have the pleasure of meeting up with Michelle (Zoemakes5) and her DD on Friday night at Disneyland and we had a good time. My kiddos loved her DD (and I liked Michelle too ). I look forward to meeting all you ladies this weekend. If I had a good time with just one lady, imagine how much fun it will be with a whole group of ladies .

Well I got to get back to work .

So I woke up this morning with a pain in my jaw. I don't know what it is but my mom said it might be a cavity (NO, it's not!) I think my wisdom tooth is coming in. I hope it doesn't get more painful as the week progresses, I don't want to be at DL in pain or hopped up on meds

So I woke up this morning with a pain in my jaw. I don't know what it is but my mom said it might be a cavity (NO, it's not!) I think my wisdom tooth is coming in. I hope it doesn't get more painful as the week progresses, I don't want to be at DL in pain or hopped up on meds

(I'm right there with you on the sickness thing. I've been sick for, gosh, it seems like 3-4 weeks now, with a horrible sinus infection. My voice sounds horrible today. I'm hoping it goes away soon so I can enjoy the ladies trip to the fullest! )

Hmmm--BillyFan's post made me remember--is anyone else wanting to go see Billy Hill while we're there? I have only seen it from the back of the room and would like to see it closer to the front.

I'd like to see this too. I haven't been to a Billy Hill show in forever. Are you doing Blue Bayou? If not perhaps we can do it then, don't they have an 11:ish show?

It very well could be a wisdom tooth coming in. Mine came in when I was about your age. Mine didn't really hurt though. It was more like I wanted to chew a big wad of gum, or a straw, or something like that, on the spot that the tooth was coming in. It felt good to me, but I'm very weird like that.

You're still sick . I really hope you feel better by the trip . It won't be as much fun if you're under the weather. I think I'll be fine. I usually get better within 2 days, so unless it turns into something major, I should be better by Wednesday.

Just a tid bit of info about me:
I was having alot of jaw pain and had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled out, well it turned out that I had 2 extra on top that never came through. So I really had 6 pulled that day! Weird huh? What was even weirder was that my mom had 2 extra too.

I know, can you believe it?!?! It just won't go away! I won't go into all the horrid, nasty, descriptive details, but at least I think it's clearing up. I'm hoping some warm California sunshine will kill it.

Oh, that story gives me the willies! I can't imagine having teeth pulled.....I actually have the chills just thinking about it.

I'm really lucky in the teeth department though. I've never even had a cavity, yet. (knock on wood) And my wisdom teeth came in nice and straight, and luckily I had lots of room in the back of my mouth for them. My poor DH has had lots of teeth problems through the years though. Yuck, I don't even like to think about it.....

Wisdom teeth are NO fun! I had mine out when I was 19, and went on a family vacation to DL (I lived in Utah at the time) the next week and was still on my pain meds! Maybe it could be fun- you'll be on pain meds, and the rest of us will be a little silly too from the F&W fest!

I am actually emailing with some good new for someone (hopefully!). A friend gave us a free 5 day park hopper pass - but the first day has to be used by Thursday, April 24th. Our first day in the park is Friday, April 25th.

I wanted to offer it up to your girls group - thought there may be someone who has to be a bit more budget conscious and might need a little help on their trip??

The pass itself is in the San Francisco Bay Area with my friend. I didn't know if you have anyone in your group from the Bay area or we can have him fed ex it - I just worry about it getting to you in time.

Let me know if you can think of any use for it!

Ok, my DD gets out of school at 12:30 and is going to meet me at the Hojo's by 1:30, hopefully sooner, so if we're running late I'll call you and let you know. I'm so EXCITED!!! I can't hardly stand it!!! I'm also very impatient

HI!!!!!

Just putting all the info into my phone. I think I have all event info in there. Now I just have to add all the phone numbers. I'll never remember to dig out the wonderful cheat sheet being made. But I'll carry it around like a good girl.

All the wash is done but I still haven't narrowed down the clothes yet. I'm having enough trouble deciding what to wear on the plane. It will be cool/cold here when I leave the house and the plane probably will be cool too. Once I land I'll be hot. Oh the joys of travel.

Catch wait Ladies, 2 more days of work and it's time for fun in the sun.
