Disneyland Girls Only Trip thread

I really need some magic girls!

I went to North Hollywood, to Deaf West Theater, and from there my friend and I went to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. When we got out from the restaurant there on my windshield, complimentary of The County of Los Angeles, a ticket. Because supposedly my rear right tire was more than 18 inches from the curb

I'm going to contest it hopefully the judge will be nice and not make me pay the $40 fine, I'm already breaking the bank for this trip.

My dad just got home from a Men's retreat and he said that because I don't have visual proof (which I could have if I was smart enough to take a picture with my camera phone) they will give me the run around and in the end be late in paying the fine. So I am just going to send the the check in on Monday.

Hi All!!! It seems so weird that we're this close to our trip. I'm getting so anxious about this trip. I've never done something like this before for fun. I mean whenever I have a class or a work trip I always end up meeting so many people that I never knew prior to the trip(s).

So is it Thursday yet?????

When we did our ladies only to WDW, we'd all been chatting for so long I really felt I knew everyone. And we posted some pics like we have on the front page here.

The thing is by the time the trip came around, some had cut and/or dyed their hair so at our first meeting, I was getting hugged by people, and I was like "OMG, HI!!!! Wait......who are you??"

Don't be anxious!! Just be excited! It's going to be a blast. And you've all got the phone numbers. Don't be afraid to use them!!

Seriously, the only person who didn't have fun on our WDW trip we did, never made a call to anyone to find out where the group was or what was going on. As long as you take the reins and get out there, you'll have a great time.


Heck, I'm totally excited and I'm not even going!!

Hi Girls!

I'm doing laundry today and sorting out my options for the suitcase. I have enough clothes out for 2 weeks. I really need to narrow it down to outfits. rofl (I'd bet $100 I'll still have enough for a week when I'm done)

OH! Speaking of ladies cutting and dying their hair before the trip. I cut my hair yesterday. It's just a little shorter but I now have a center part and bangs. Hopefully by Thursday I will have the hang of the new cut. I liked it yesterday after I got home and messed with it a bit but I'm not liking it today.

I also shopped yesterday, I was very productive. Normally for Disney Meets I have a pink cowboy hat I wear the whole weekend for my friends. It sure stands out in a crowd if you get separated. However, it is in my Owners Locker waiting for my next WDW meet. I decided we can't have a meet without a cowboy hat. So I bought a WHITE one. Woot. So there is another way to find me. Look for the nutter in the white cowboy hat. LOL

I don't remember but I do know that the majority of us are staying at HoJos

For those who want to join us EARLY on Friday for FL, you have to be extra sneaky and quiet-like for your non-morning roomies

Speaking as a non-morning roomie.....no need to be extra quiet. I've got the same issue of trying not to wake everyone up when I come in late. I'll be up early in the morning on Friday, no way around it, really, as I know my roomies are all early risers. I may be there at rope drop, but I'm not quite sure yet. The last few times I was there, I was in the parks by 9am. Got fast passes for Indy and Space Mountain right away, and then continued to collect them throughout the day for later use. Did the same at DCA. Got my fast passes, was there for opening of DCA, got ToT, Screamin, and by the time I got back to the front of the park, I was able to get Soarin too. Gotta love those really short early morning fastpass windows.
