Disneyland Girls Only Trip thread

I believe that Lulubelle (Linda) had also signed up for the Festival Wine Tasting. I think there was someone else too (one of the Stacies maybe?), but can't remember now who it is. If you gals are still having your own private tasting maybe we'll join you after the Electrical parade!

The only bad thing about this weekend is that you can't participate in everything! Too much to do! I am glad that it looks like the participants in each group for the various events are spread around so that we can all get to know each other . . . .

Yup, I'm signed up for the F&W thing on Saturday night, 7:30-9pm.

I've tried to keep it updated with people who aren't going so let me know if you need to be taken off the list. Here is a link to the Photopass Information post. Make sure you read it completely and understand how it works. I think the easiest way to enter the information is for each person to input their card number(s) into the account that I create. I have already created it so I will PM the information to everyone once I have a final list. What I need from all of the participants is your mailing information (name, address). How does everyone feel about just writing me a check next week? banana: ) If I have everyone pay me through Paypal, I get charged a fee.

I will also need your email address; it will be easier to communicate with everyone that way instead of through PMs.

We could make our own wine event at the Hearthstone Lounge or the Napa Rose Lounge at the Grand Californian on Saturday night.

Or a wine tasting in someone's room. Everyone who participates brings a bottle of wine. I am driving up Saturday morning so I can bring the wine glasses and snacks.

If you bring the glasses, I'll bring some wine. red, white or sparkling?? I know Lauren and Dagny like Pinot Grigio and Gewerstermeiner (sweet whites). What's your preference and when's the party? Who's bringing the chocolate covered raisins - and I wonder if there's a way to make Jiffy Pop?

Or, if no one wants to head for a room (but why would we buck tradition this trip?) any of the lounges at GCH would work too!

If our 'group' doesn't have wine ressies, can we get Electrical Parade Seating?

Girls, I think we need an IM conversation to work this out!

Lesley, if you want me to add any of those VIP tour lists to the front, please just let me know which one. I know things are still being decided and moved around which is why I haven't done it yet.

I also updated the title so I HOPE people will check the last few pages of the thread daily to see what, if anything, they've missed.

Anything else I can do, please just let me know.

The tshirt and lanyard are 20 total. Don't exactly know the breakdown. PM DangerMouse and let her know you're taking my friend's lanyard, she's putting everyone's names on them. You can just give me the 20 when we're at DL.

Cristabel, I believe the turquoise one needs to be paid directly to Capri (disney super mom), as I think I paid her for mine, but not my friend's yet.

I have had some people ask me about when they will get the brown shirts and lanyards. So, this is what I'm thinking. . .

I'm not flying in until Friday morning and will check in at the HoJo. My plan was to leave the shirts with Lorealle since she has offered to pass them out to people as they are checking in. (What a sweetheart!)

I'm planning on bringing the lanyards to the Blue Bayou on Friday so I can pass them out when y'all are checking in to eat (I won't be eating there -- sorry). That way you can wear your lanyard on Friday without having to go back to the hotel to pick it up. If you don't get it during the BB meet, then you can either call me on my cell or wait until the VIP tour to get it from me.

Hope that works out ok for everyone. PM me if you have any specific requests for receiving your tshirt/lanyard.

What shirt are we wearing when? The turquoise on Fri. and the brown on Sat.?

Callie your plan sounds great--some of us will already be "checked in" so I assume that we can just get our shirts at the front desk whenever we go back to Hojos. (What if it's after midnight? I may not go back to the hotel at all on Fri. until park closing. I assume they just will be at the front desk with our names on them?)

Hey girls: saw this posted in another thread and thought I'd share . . . .

We were just there from Sat to Wed...of those three days, I know that they were handing them out in front of Big Thunder Mountain railroad three of those mornings ~ just after park opening. We were lucky and got them on Sunday! There were two cast members waiting at the exit area of BTMR with stacks of them just handing them out. (On Sat I had asked a CM how the dream fast passes were handed out and she gave me the usual answer that several others gave as well which was that it was completely computerized and random...but it does seem odd that several people I know all got them in the same area a few days in a row at the same time!)

Good to know! I'm going with dd and dh on Sunday. We'll have to try it! Thx!
