Disneyland for the Holidays Questions

I have been looking all over the web for these answers, with no luck, so please help?

I may book a trip for next year, Dec 31 2015-January 3, 2016. Or about that.

I really want to see the holiday decorations and special events, but cannot travel in November and December. It looks like the World of Color runs thru the 6th, but what about the parade and fireworks? (I assume the decorations will be up, although I read that Santa Claus will be gone, which is not a problem).

Last year, they presented the Christmas Parade and Believe...In Holiday Magic fireworks through the end of the holiday season (Monday, 1/6). This year, the holiday season is slated to run through Tuesday (1/6), so I would guess that the parade and fireworks will also continue through the 6th.

Thanks, that was very helpful. Looks like this trip may work out...... I just want to see DL for the holidays..... even if it is right after the holidays, lol.

Keep in mind that the Christmas parade and holiday fireworks are likely to be affected (if not removed entirely) for the holiday season of 2015 (ending in January 2016), due to the rumored new, non-holiday, nighttime parade and new non-holiday fireworks show coming up for the 60th anniversary of DL. Those events have not yet been officially announced, of course, but they are very likely to happen. I'm not even sure if the Winter Castle's Enchantment Lighting will be happening in 2015 if there is other 60th anniversary stuff going on.

So you could, possibly, miss seeing A Christmas Fantasy Parade and Believe in Holiday Magic fireworks during your trip.

I think that if they have those new parades next year for the 60th anniversary, I suspect the Christmas parade might pop up across the way at DCA.
