I feel like I know WDW like the back of my hand, but I've never been to Disneyland. I will already be out in California in March and have a chance to go to Disneyland for just one day. Since its my first time and I have limited time, what should I be sure to do?!?! I don't want to miss any of the highlights!! Best places to eat?? (also it will be adults, no kids, if that makes any difference in your recommendations) TIA!!! :goodvibes

For just adults.. skip the character dining.. Do Blue Bayou!

As far as rides maybe focus the ones that WDW do not have?

Are you doing 1 or both parks???

At DL, you for sure want to ride:
-Space (much better over in CA)
-Indiana Jones (my favorite ride at DLR, and WDW doesn't have it!)
-Matterhorn
-Mr. Toad
-Alice in Wonderland
-Pinocchio
-Roger Rabbit
-Pirates (also superior on the west coast)

Other than that, I'd just do what you feel like doing. You will find subtle differences in most of the other rides, but that doesn't mean that they're not fun...I mean, even though the BTMRRs are mirror-images...it's still a great ride! So after you do all of the "unique" stuff, just explore.

One more thing, you MUST see Remember Dreams Come True! The best fireworks show ever! Blows Wishes out of the water. Also Fantasmic is leaps and bounds better than DHS's version.

If you're looking to splurge... Napa Rose for the main course and Blue Bayou for desserts (and atmosphere)!

If you're on a budget, definitely Cafe Orleans (don't miss the parmesan fries)

As for rides, like someone mentioned above, definitely focus on the ones that WDW does that have! I would personally like to recommend The Haunted Mansion, Indiana Jones, and World of Color.

If i was going for one day i would make sure to get into Napa Rose!

Also, get to the park 1 hour before opening!
