Me & my family consider ourselves Disney World experts, but we are about to venture into the unknown! An unexpected business trip to LA just came up & now we are planning a day at Disneyland for my husband's birthday. Any "must do" things? Tips on where to start looking? We are traveling with two adults & a 3 year old. Thanks for any help or suggestions!! :smickey:

HydroGuy's A DLR Guide for WDW Vets is a good place to start. It'll help give you a sense of the similarities and differences between the resorts.

When are you going to DLR specifically? I ask because different days of the week and different times of the year can lead to different recommendations and advice. Also, are you getting park hoppers or just going to go to one park? The two parks are about 110 yards apart (you can see into DL from DCA's ticket gates and vice-a-versa, so park hopping is much easier than at WDW, but for some it's not worth it on a one day trip).

Thanks for the link! I’ll check it out! We’re going on a Monday in a couple of weeks & will be able to go to both parks.
