Disneyland Fireworks Viewing

Hi everyone,

We are heading to DL at the end of September. My plan was to go to the parks on the Wed/Thur/Friday. I see now on the schedule that the only Fireworks will be on the Saturday night as DL is closing at 7pm on the Friday. We will still be at the hotel on Saturday and my question is can we view the Fireworks without being in the park? Ie. if we are at Downtown Disney on Saturday night will be see the Fireworks?

The fireworks are important to my DD4 so if I need to change the days that we visit the parks so that we can see them we will.

I think that if the fireworks are important and you CAN change your days then I would. It's such a different experience to be IN the park(on main street, at the hub, in front of the castle) than only seeing the fireworks that are up in the air. At the end of September there are the Remember Dreams Come True fireworks which will truly take your breath away if you are standing near the hub. So much goes on right at the castle and it makes all the difference to hear the soundtrack along with them.

Thanks for your reply. We changed things up so that we will use our 3 day pass for Wed/Thurs/Sat to be able to see Fireworks and then we are attending MHP on the Friday. Next question, should we see the HP fireworks then attend F! on the Saturday? It seems that with our schedule we will need to make a choice between F! and Fireworks on Saturday as my 4 yo won't make it to the later showing of F!.

If you are attending the MHP on Friday, you can see the special halloween Fireworks on Friday Night.
Also, it sounds like last year, during the MHP weeks, that Fantasmic was showing on Thursday nights, in place of Friday, because of the MHP.
If that is the case again this year, you have multiple choices for both!

Possibly Thurs and Sat for Fantasmic
Friday and Sat for Fireworks

Both are a must for my kids! And I agree with others that seeing the Fireworks from Mainstreet is a must, it's a totally different experience than just seeing what's up in the air. The music makes it

Awesome, Thanks for the feedback! Currently the Disneyland website is showing only Saturday night for Fantasmic, hopefully that changes as you suggested.
