Not quite sure what sort of shuttle service we should pick. Just wondering what everyone's experience with Disney Express has been like. How often does it come and do you have to wait until it fills up? Does it take forever to get to your hotel? I was also wondering how much it costs. I was on the website but for some reason couldn't find a price.

I am also curious if you need reservations?

I got this off their website under brochures:

adult one way 20.00
round trip 30.00

child one way 17.00
round trip 22.00
child is 3-17

this is LAX to anaheim resorts

we are using them on Friday morning round trip to DLH and I did it all online for a family of three (child is three and needs no car seat, because of bus)/ Hope this helps

We have used them twice from LAX and it worked out great. The price is less from SNA because it is closer, but I can't remember what it costs from there. I'll see if I can find the info. :)

Thanks everyone for your replies.:thanks: Does anyone remember if the Disney Hotels (DLH, PP) are one of the first stops.

I believe I read that it drops off at the Disney properties first.

We did this last year from LAX and it was extremely convenient and I would do it again. The route it takes from the airport is down Disneyland Drive and to the DLR hotels first. It then continues south and circles the park down Katella and then north up Harbor.

They reverse this with the DLR hotels being the last pickup on your return to the airport.

Oh, and no you do not have to wait for it to fill up. We used it in September and there was barely anyone on it. Buses were running every thirty minutes.

Reservations? You don't even have to pre-purchase a ticket. All reservation, ticket, and schedule information is in the disneyfan4ever54's post above. (I lack the post count to post an actual link)

Have used them previously with no problems. Our return to LAX on the 12th made me decide to use one of the smaller ones next time. They were late picking up went to Disney Hotel made us get off as he wasn't going to LAX. Had to board another bus that didn't have enough seats. A few of the men had to help lady bus driver pack in the luggage - the other 2 bus drivers there would not help. We did make good time to the airport though.
That was at noon. My friend left early that morning. First they forgot to pick them up then they were also driven to Disney hotel and had to get off. Said they would not send 1/2 full bus.Had to wait for another bus her DD7 got on door closed and got stuck. They had to break door. Must have been a bad day all round.

We will only require one way transfers from DLH to LAX. Is there a Grayline office in DTD or can we make reservations at the hotel?

I'm not aware of any offices.

Please phone (714) 978-8855 to make your transportation arrangements today! Reservations from the airport are not required but are recommended for groups of 10 or more. Group charters, convention services and custom tours are also available. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more with advance purchase.

So, if you wanted to make reservations you could hit the website or use their phone number.

Have done Super Shuttle several times and used Disneyland Express last visit. I won't be using them again. The Super Shuttles run more frequently. So, I had to wait for an hour for Disneyland Express to come around again. And, the Disneyland Express stopped first at the Disneyland Hotel, at which time we had to wait for someone to come onto the bus and collect everyone's money or vouchers. That took a while. As I recall, the difference in price between the two was only $2. I will certainly use Super Shuttle from now on.

anyone know if the disneyland express drops off/picks up at the park vue? i have heard it sometimes stops at some "neutral" location between hotels and you have to walk from there with all your stuff. thats not really a good option for us. just curious if it stops at the actual hotel in this case. thanks!!

just in case anyone else was wondering, i called and they said the bus stop is 3 hotels away from the Park Vue. that is totally not going to work for us, and their website is quite misleading, since they imply that they do stop there.

I wonder if they stop at the La Quinta? It's just listed as an On Call stop for the departures, but it doesn't say anything about the arrivals. I'd use Supershuttle, but I won't have the kids carseats with us for that!
