Disneyland Dr walking question

I’m thinking of staying at staybridge on ball rd. Google maps shows people walking down Disneyland Drive as of 02/2017. Can anyone confirm that you can still walk down Disneyland dr and get on the Mickey & Friends Tram after they changed security and evidently blocked off some walkways.

Thanks for the help. I’ve been going back-and-forth for days stressing on what to do for our hotel. I didn’t want to take art due to having to break down my stroller, we take sooooo much stuff with us.
