Hi,
I heard on the news that Disneyland was offering discounts for either December 24, 25, or 26, I'm not sure because I had company at the time and wasn't the one watching the tv. Can you help me? Does anyone know anything about this? We want to go tomorrow (24th) and I'm trying to find info about it online. I think it was on Channel 4 (nbc l.a.) at 4:00 today. Thanks and Happy Holidays!!

My husband told me that I was wrong. That they were talking about discounts on a monorail in Las Vegas. That what I heard was all wrong!! After I heard about the discount, my mom, dad and I had a big discussion about whether or not to go to Disneyland tomorrow and my husband just sat there and didn't say a word about us being wrong. Right now I told him I was online looking for info about the discount and he said that it wasn't a story about Disneyland at all and that we didn't know what we were talking about. Nice of him to correct us, huh? I'm sorry if I wasted anyones time or got your hopes up.

I think there was some kind of special on Disneyland tickets, but I'm pretty sure it's over now. I was at the ticket booth last night getting passes for the kids and the lineup was... really really slow. It seemed like everyone was taking forever. There were all kinds of discussions going on at the ticket windows. Someone behind me said "what part of '2 days only' don't people understand" and shortly after I heard a CM at a window say at a customer "just yesterday and today", so I still have no idea what it was about.

ETA: The Las Vegas monorail has just re-opened though. It was originally scheduled to start up in the spring, and then in the summer, and finally did late summer but shut down within weeks due to some small problems (like bolts falling off). They're having introductory rates for the monorail, it doesn't say how long those rates are good for though.

I just got an email from the Las Vegas monorail folks, saying that the monorail is open and there's free service to the public through December 28. So maybe that's what you heard?

the only promo thru nbc-la is that you can buy a one day hopper ticket for the price of one. not that big of a deal.
