Disneyland Dining Reservations

Can you still call to make dining reservations for Disneyland? I’ve tried to call and it immediately plays a recording stating that at this time you cannot make reservations via the dine line. Any experience with this?

I'm struggling to book dining on the app today. I saw on the wdw dining Facebook page I'm in that a bunch of dining dropped yesterday (prob as a glitch) and now it's down. I'm guessing/hoping that they have dining down on both places to fix said glitch

No, the Dine line has not returned, and the only way to make reservations is online - either through the app or on the website. It looks like there are significant issues today though.

DLR Newb - can you book everything online with DLR? At WDW dining packages you have to call to get (at least two years ago you did we didn't do one last trip).

I was informed, by a CM, that the Dining team was overwhelmed because during "the times we dare not discuss", they combined BOTH coasts into one location. So if you called for Cali ressies, you'd end up with a rep in FL. Now, they absolutely direct you to the app.

I believe the only thing you can book on the phone is Napa Rose Chef's table, by calling the restaurant directly. For the in-park restaurants and dining packages you book all of them online now. It is extremely frustrating for large families, because you often cannot book for your entire group, and the system prevents you from having two reservations close to each other, so you have to use multiple accounts. 'Large' can be anything over 4 for some locations, and for sure anything over 8.

Also, in case you weren't aware, dining reservations drop up to 60 days out from your date, usually at 6 a.m. Pacific, and the more desirable ones (i.e. Blue Bayou and Oga's Cantina) are often gone in minutes.
