So, since we'll be going to Disneyland at a time when Fantasmic only runs on the weekends and we'll be there only on weekdays, we'll be missing out on the chance to enjoy one of their dessert/seating packages that I had originally planned.

I'm thinking about upgrading to a DTD view for our stay at GCH since the parks will be closing around 8:00pm. We love to people watch and I thought, what would be more fun than to sit on the balcony with a little dessert box of our own making and watch everyone.

I figured while treking around the park, I could pick up little treats here and there for our nightly "People Watch".

So I ask, tell me what is a little park treat you enjoy and where to find them. Anything from candy, to cookies, to cake, you know... all those glorious sugary, gooey treats we all toss caution to the wind and chow down on while on vacation.

We loved the Bumblebee lemon cupcakes at the Hungry Bear last week--went back for seconds! Would have gone for thirds if we had time! :)

Dole Whips.. which alas would be impractical for your intended use heheheh.

oh and Caramel apples.

those are really the only 2 things that I REQUIRE at some point, even if it is the last thing I get on the way out.

Mickey Beignets from Cafe Orleans or the Mint Julep Bar! So nummy!! :lovestruc

I haven't had them, but I keep hearing about the Tigger Tails!!!!! Also, I love anything from the bakery on Main Street USA, but the chocolate-dipped Mickey Rice Krispie heads are my favorites!

Tigger Tails and Dole Whips are definitely at the top of my list.

But also, the last time I went we got a chocolate brownie funnel cake with mickey whipped cream at the hungry bear restaurant. It was pretty delicious. I know they changed their menu recently, so I don't know if they still have it or not. But it was goooood.

Churros are my favorite but not sure if they would still be good by the time you get back to the hotel.

The apple pie Carmel apples are my second favorite and they are soooo good!

What a fun idea!

Churros, toffee, chocolate caramel covered marshmallows, peanut butter bar, popcorn...

Oh my, do those sound good. I've got them on my list. And thanks for letting me know where you found them, that's going to make it really easy.

I've heard about the Dole Whips and have those down to get while waiting for the Tiki Room. And caramel apples are always wonderful. Any specific one you like and where do I find the best ones?

Chocolate dipped Rick Krispie trest?? Oh my, those are a "for sure". Tigger Tails?? What are they? And I take it we can find them over by the Winnie The Pooh ride?

"chocolate brownie funnel cake" - Oh Lord, be still my beating heart. I do hope they still have these. Your the 2nd who mentioned Tigger Tails so I'll need to get that too.

Fudge. Candy Store on Main Street. YUM!

And not sure when you are going, but if it's during the Fall, pumpkin muffins from the bakery. To-die-for.

Mmmmmm.... fffuuuuddddgggeeee!!! :woohoo: Thank you.

We'll be there Sept 19-23 and I understand that most of the Halloween decor should be up by then so we may just get lucky and find those pumpkin muffins. Thanks!

We buy most of our treats at the candy store on Main Street or the one back by the Winnie the Pooh ride. Hope you're there long enough to try everything you want to eat!
