On our lat night of our trip Oct 16th they are having the Mickeys Trick or Treat Halloween Party. We were thinking of attending only so that we could stay in the park till 10:30. Now that Oct hours are out I see that Disneyland is open till 11:00 that night. So I was just wondering which park would be less crowded? How crowded can I expect Disneyland to be durring the Halloween Party? Would DCA be less crowded since there is a separate fee to get in? Thanks all.

The nice thing about the MHT (Mickey's Halloween Treat) is that because it is a separate ticketed event, they have a limit to how many people will be in the parks. I have heard that not all the rides are open, but the ones that are have very little wait, if any.

Do you want to just go on attractions or do you want to participate in the MHT special events (trick-or-treating, character photos, parade, etc?) I would try to find out what rides are expected to be open, and then make sure it's worth it to you to pay that extra amt.

DCA usually closes a lot earlier than DL anyway. So crowds usually migrate over to DL. However, on the night of the halloween party, a good portion of the visitors will be at the party, so I imagine DL may not be as crowded as usual.

DCA will most likely be less crowded because they only sell a certain number of tickets before it's sold out. Both years during the TOTP, I have been able to ride a lot in DCA and still get the kids lots of candy and other fun stuff too!
