Disneyland cracking down on "Fraudulent" tickets?

That's been their policy for a while, so I'm not sure what you're asking if they are enforcing...

When we picked our tickets up on Saturday, the CM wrote our names on them. And we were asked for ID (for just one of the tickets) on Saturday when we first used them.

Yep, good thing they did, and if they did this with everyone, I bet they could offer us the more than 5 day Park Hopper tickets.

I wonder why it wouldn't be feasible to migrate over to a Costco/Sam's Club/Vegas Casino Rewards Club type of card system.

Simply have the person's name and photo embossed on the pass. Those who prepay online or through a package get a voucher and that allows them to enter a Fasspass lane to get their photo card. Charge $5.00 on top of the cost of the pass to pay for the card system.

Then, when you arrive at the park, you present the card which is swiped and show your ID for name verification (you can even tag it to a specific zip code or whatever other information you want to match to the ID).

Our initial set up costs for this at work was pretty small and we buy the cards in bulk. You could even set it up that if you reuse the card, they wave the $5.00 charge.

I wish they would crack down around WDW. My bro in law got involved in selling these type of tickets thru his new GF & I can't stand it!!!!!
