Disneyland coming to Kenosha, Wi

My sister in law was the one telling me about this last night. Anyway, I sent the article you linked here and I'm asking her to verify if this was the same article or not.

I'm inclined to not believe it's true and maybe the other poster is right; she might be doing an early April Fools on me.

Pretty sure it's not happening. It would be all over the news. Check over on the rumors board.

LOL Sorry, the author is correct when he says he's fantasizing about it. It won't ever happen. There is nothing in Kenosha that anyone would want to see/visit.

The Jacksonville, NC paper actually printed that Disney was looking at property in the area in the early 2000s and there is a viral story that talks about an abandoned Disney resort of Emerald Isle.

Both are just part of the lore that began out of the Disney Mid-America prospects... This will just begin a string of Wi rumors.

Not at al likely, if for no other reason then Disney runs their parks 12 months year and the winter will not work in Wi. Maybe a ski resort , but not a typical theme park.

Has anyone been to DL Paris in the winter? How does that work? I always wonder.

I had also heard that was an issue in Tokyo and that there were more covered areas.

All of Main Street, and the fully-functional Center Street that crosses and connects with Tomorrowland and Adventureland is covered. As a WDW veteran, it takes some getting used to.

I live in a cold and snowy place, and I'm just not sure I'd go to an all-season park for about 6 months out of the year.

I'm not a heat lover at all, but some things are just better in hot weather than cold. Like going on a roller coaster :)
