I was thinking about this and sorry if it is a little out there, but better to ask and look silly rather then not ask at all! Maybe it's the Disney curiosity in me!

Is there any characters in DisneyLand that I can get that I would not be able to get in WDW?

Thanks!!

:)

Probably. I find the character variety to be more diverse in DLR. Granted I haven't looked for characters in every location at both resorts.

I once saw Peter Pan running around Disneyland near the entrance to Tomorrowland. He was signing autographs and taking pictures - if you could catch him! It was quite a sight! Does he sign autographs at WDW? (I can't remember ever seeing him there...)

Also, I heard Russell and Doug are going to have a permanent home at DCA, do they have one at WDW? (I met them there once but "Up" was the most recent Disney movie at the time)

From what I can tell, Disneyworld has their meet and greets scheduled and in the same places, making it easier to find who you're looking for.

Disneyland has characters running around the parks in different areas and different times (with some scheduled areas thrown in there) which makes spotting a character surprising and fun.

Every now and then I see a new character at Disneyland that I've never seen there before.

I'm a huge character autograph fan and these are what I found while hunting in DL vs. WDW.

This was during Memorial week(Feb) this year; I'm assuming this hasn't changed.

I found Max in DCA; he's a regular there than at WDW. He shook his finger at me when I said I looked for him everywhere at WDW; and tapped his foot impatiently and pointed to the ground saying he's been here all this time and where were you?:rotfl:

Gepetto was easier to find at the Minnie's character breakfast than in WDW DHS random appearances.

Mad Hatter was at the entrance of DL as opposed to only meeting him at 1900 Park Faire breakfasts or during WDW's MNSSHP.

I heard but didn't get to see Capt. Jack Sparrow does Meet N Greets; unlike at WDW only doing the quick shows and running away near the PoC ride.

Characters specific to DCA; Minnie & Goofy dressed as pilots hanging around Soarin'.

Mickey and Minnie dressed in white and blue sailor suits ( I didn't see them) also I believe in DCA.

There's the character breakfast in the GC that has Koda and Kenai- they used to appear in AK but now make random rare appearances there.

That's all I can think of. :goodvibes
