Disneyland booking question

I posted this on the Disneyland board, but thought I may be able to get a response here as well.

We're looking to go to Disneyland next June. This will be our first trip there, however we've been to Disneyworld many times. I know with DW, you can book however far out you want, even though the rates haven't come out. Is this the same w/Disneyland? I just called and the CM said she couldn't book yet cuz the rates weren't in the system. Thanks for any info!

I was calling for rooms for my sons birthday, far out in advance. I would say yes, just you probably won't get any deals at that time of year of course. August is the best time for deals. Just like Disney World.

Gee - I've never booked any of the Disneyland Hotels more than about 4 months in advance. I guess just keep checking back every month, so you can get exactly what you want. (if $$$ is no object, might I suggest the Grand Californian, Park View? - it's really cool - overlooking Disney's California Adventure Park.)
