Disneyland App (Update Available 2/28/20)

I was only able to see the Disneyland app update after I did a software update. Check to see if you phone has an update.

ETA: I have an Android phone.

Strange, I haven't had an (android) update since Januaray and mine says version 5.9 build 20200214.2 which I assume a later number is a newer version but maybe not?

I just updated. Said it was released 2/24/2020 on the app page. Same build number as you. The one I had before was build 20191231.2 which lines up with the last time I remember getting an update (January leading up to Rise opening). The build numbers appear to be dates and I'm assuming will always be for a date before they're released.

For what it's worth, I'm on a Pixel 2XL running Q/10 with the February 5 security patch update installed. It very much could be related to operating system.

After checking repeatedly, I got the update this morning!

I just went to add a dining reservation and all of my dining plans are gone.

Try deleting the app and reinstalling. See if that doesn't bring everything back. If not, call Disney.

I just re installed the Disneyland App, as I had taken it off when I came home after my last trip. I'm on an Android and it says version 5.9, updated 24 February.

Also just an FYI The Disney Play App is not compatible with my phone so whoever is building / updatng that APP has different specifications and is only allowing it on the most recent phones models.

We've had reports here of the DLR app (not just the Play app) not playing nice with older phones, too -- that's one reason we suggest that people download the app and start using it before their trips to make sure that it works with their phone before they get to the parks.

The Disney Play App didn't work in June 2019 either I don't really need to get a new phone so I'm just resigned to not being able to do all the cool things in Galaxys Edge

The update spread out the FP return times so I have to take five screenshots instead of four to track them all now.
