This time last year (the first Friday of Star Wars Weekends), Disney announced the price increase for all DLR annual passes, to take effect Sunday (so 5/18/12 to take effect on 5/20/12.)

So far, no announcement....

With fear of increases we bought the ph's for 3 family members & are waiting to hear about the increase before buying our AP's... keepin my fingers crossed it will be a bit longer...

The DisneylandAP twitter feed (apparently this is a new twitter acct) has had a few people asking if APs are increasing (even 1 asking if the 2 lower APs are being taken away, didn't hear about that one) @DisneylandAP's response was "We don't have any specific information about rate increases at this time."

Someone else asked if they will lower their APs (from the price it is now to the $449 price) their response "We don't have any information about future rate changes at this time."

Here's to a little Pixie Dust that it doesn't increase! :tinker:

Is it sad that they have developed such a reputation that we now EXPECT a price increase to take place?

:rotfl2: Can't imagine why Disney would feel motivated to lower the prices with crowds as they are.

Yes! :worried:

I thought the same thing... it seems the higher they price their tickets the more crowded it has become. I can still remember a 3 day being less than $150 (shoot maybe even less than $130) and a 1 day parkhopper being close to $70.... ahhhh the good ol' days.

Does anyone know when the current vouchers expire if you bought an AP voucher through Disneyland.com? Thanks!

Ours stated December 31st - but you can use them beyond that, for example if you bought it now and then did not make it to DLR until January, you could still activate your AP - however, if they announce a price increase between now and then (which is very likely to happen) you'd be on the hook for the difference for each AP voucher you wish to activate.

They are non refundable but at the same time you never lose the money you paid for them - you just lose the price you locked in at when you did.

Hope that helps.

You have to wonder what kind of person would seriously ask if they were planning to return the price of the Premium AP back to $449 - that is just a foolish question, even for Twitter.

Purchased Premium APs for myself and spouse on May 5th, 2013, $649.00 ea. Expiration May 5, 2014.

Maybe it was just to check and see if it generated the same stock answer?

Not sure but someone on Twitter mentioned their pass was expiring soon, they renewed with the old price and if they could get the old price for their pass if they renewed again.... so maybe they are just wishful thinking, doesn't hurt to ask kinda people. They are asking very silly questions though. :confused3 ;) :)

The increases are on their way. Yesterday Universal Florida increased their 1 day ticket to $92.00 up $3.00.
