Disneyland and gluten free.

This is our first trip since we have been diagnosed with Celiac Disease. I've read some past posts and know that there are quite a few options in the park, but I was wondering if anyone has any recent experiences.

I'm especially interested in Blue Bayou, New Orleans Square, and the Rain Forest Cafe.

Also I read that the hot dog place on main street has gluten free buns, and was wondering if there were other places that had gluten free bread or buns.

Any tips or specific recommendations for sit down or quick service restaurants is appreciated. Thanks.

Pizza Port definitely has gluten free....something. Pizza or pasta or both, can't remember which.

I would recommend calling Disney Dining and requesting to be put through to a chef to talk about dietary issues. If you get a CM who says "no", say bye and call back. Generally you'll have to leave a message and they will call you back, and you can ask your specific questions and they will help you.

Disney is very interested in NOT making their guests sick, so they can be very accommodating.

My BFF has Celiac's, she eats at Pizza Port. She gets the pasta, says it's better than the pizza she had after asking for gluten free. I'm not sure what all she does eat because she does a lot of salads but Molly is right. Call Disney Dining and ask for a Chef, they will be able to help you out. And don't be shy about asking for gluten free when you are there, if they've got it they get it for you.

I just went in November and picked up the gluten free list of available food in DCA and DL...if you pm your address or fax # I'll send it to you...

We recently went to Taste Pilots grille in DCA- they have gluten free buns available. We were also told that their chili for the chili burgers are not gluten free. But they do have buns

Where did you pick up a list of gluten-free foods at DL park? Great idea (my niece has a peanut allergy, and I'll see if they have one for that allergy, too).

I was told they have it at city hall.
