Disneyland 100th Anniversary Celebration begins January 27th

The first ever commercial for Disneyland's 100th Anniversary celebration debuted today and according to the commercial it launches January 27th and the commercial shows parts of a special parade that they are gonna have but I can't recall what parade it will be. Has anyone heard about this and what shows and activities are planned for the celebration?

Either some dolt at KTLA wrote the script wrong or one of the hosts ad libbed, because he said that Mickey and Minnie, who were on the Disneyland Fire Department's Engine #1 during the Rose Parade, were "headed to the resort's 100th anniversary celebration, which starts on January 27th. Happy 100th to Disneyland."

Parade is Magic Happens. It debuted 2 weeks before DLR closed for those 412-ish horrible, bleak, Mickey-less days. It hasn't been seen since... excited to have it restarting!

They showed the parade on tv once after they closed. We bought Mickey shaped ice cream sandwiches and pretzels and watched it in our living room. Can't wait to see it in person!

What a fun thing to do durring those COVID days! I usually don't like to watch videos until I have seen soemthing in person, but I started to doubt that this one would come back, so I gave it a look. It's pretty good, though it's not my favorite song. I love the visual design though!

Hi, we were just about to book our Disney trip and then heard about the 100th Anniversary Celebration. While this would be fun to experience, are also wondering if the park will be extra busy with longer line-ups? Should we factor this in and maybe go next year, or nothing to worry about? Thanks!

Unless you were planning on being there today (opening weekend) no, I don‘t think it is something to concern yourself about - there is always *something* that is a new draw. Go when you want to go.

I think it's more of a year long celebration centered on merchandise , decorations and things like the new fireworks show. I don't think it will matter much for crowds.

What I think Disneyland is hoping that this new celebration will do is promise more exciting rides more exciting shows and be better than the 50th Celebration and with the reopening of Mickey's Toontown in March it really will help Disneyland attract more visitors this year. But what's surprising is the return of the Magic Happens Parade because that parade was so cool and seemed to become a hit parade but it's a shame that it no longer existed when Disneyland closed in 2020 due to the pandemic but now that it's back is Magic Happens the exact same parade from 2020? Because I noticed that when I saw a clip of it when it debuted on Youtube that the theme song was performed by Todrick Hall and is the same theme song used in this new version of Magic Happens? I think this celebration is the start of Disneyland's miracle year and the park will be improved

Does anyone know when the celebration is going to end? My family’s next visit is in October and I really want to see the Wondrous fireworks but they will probably have the Halloween fireworks during that time?
