Disneyfans4, ?? about your Swan ressie...

I read on another post that you had a ressie at the Swan and the guy you booked with was really nice. Can you tell me if you booked thru SPG or did you call the Swan/Dolphin number? We are going to celebrate my 50th birthday and our wedding anniversary in December and would like to stay there also. Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

I am not the person who booked that ressie, but I would recommend booking directly through the Swan.

Based on this comment "Like it has been said...Starwood can make things magical also" I tend to think that she made her reservation through Starwood.


She certainly got a wonderful, though rarely given, upgrade. I think her reservation agent was having a very good day. It was a very generous gesture.

I was surprised to see the person that took her call was empowered to grant such an upgrade. I would have thought it would have to be a "higher being" that would have to OK it. Oh well, you can tell I'm not familiar with the hotel business.

I would have to think that he got the OK from a supervisor. I agree that the agent probably did not have the authority to do so on his own.

Nevertheless, makes for a pretty magical stay!
