Disneybounding In The Parks?

Hey everybody!!! So I'm 29 days out and yesterday I was putting together and planning my Disneybounds and I started wondering if anyone else does it around here while in the parks. Disneybounding started on Tumblr, I believe, and it's when you dress in the spirit of a Disney character (not dressing up AS a character). The Tumblr blog is run by a very nice girl named Leslie and I used it for inspiration for my own looks. I didn't Disneybound when I went down in January but I'm doing it for my birthday trip and I did it last year. I sometimes do it while I'm home but mostly, I save it for when I'm in the parks. It's really fun that way, I think. The characters I chose to Disneybound as include:

• Snow White (incorporating a navy blue German musical tee-shirt)
• Jenny from Oliver and Company
• Rosetta (incorporating my pink Jersey Boys musical tee shirt)
• Loki
• Mr. Smee
• Captain Hook
• Jane Porter

Since Disney may be including Disneybounding as the 2014 Disney Parks theme, I'm curious do any of you Disneybound? If not, are you considering trying it?

I've never heard of it. I'd love to see YOUR outfits, but it sounds like too much work for ME to do, personally. I'm lucky if I end up with matching shorts and tee shirts in my suitcase.

When we were at DL this summer, we saw a lot of Disneybounding. Don't know if WDW is the same. I know it wasn't last year on our trip, but it seems like Disneybounding in the U.S. is kind of a new thing, so maybe it has started to catch on there too.

As for my looks, I'd be happy to share what I'm doing, if you guys want. I don't go all out but I think I capture the spirit of the characters, I'll explain how I'm doing each look too. Just let me know if you'd like me to help you guys understand Disneybounding better

People do it a lot I think. I know do! It's really fun when cast members recognize that you are doing it! I'm not sure if it is more popular at Disneyland though, but who knows! Have fun!

We saw a lot of Disneybounding this past weekend at WDW. My DD and I had planned to go one day as Alice and the Mad Hatter, but scrapped the idea when I realized I had left my hat at home.

Its REALLY popular with the Run Disney crowd. I havent done it myself, but now that you mention it, I may consider it for next week's trip.

I am not Disneybounding on our upcoming honeymoon, but I am theming my outfits to our destination/activities for the day. I have lots of retro-style sundresses with loud prints, so I'll have tiki print for Adventureland, monster movie print for dinner at SciFi, etc. I'm excited

I got mine way back in the say when Home Depot still had them & I made a bunch of extras out of poster board!!

My DD plans to Disneybound on our next trip in Aug 2014. She has a whole list of characters/outfits. I told her we have plenty of time to plan and shop. We plan to shop the discount racks and pick up items throughout the year. I think it will be fun and exciting to see how each one turns out!!

my best friend and i are disneybounding as kiss the girl ariel and prince eric next week! she did her ariel disneybound once in january, and when we met ariel, the first words out of her mouth were, "oh!! TWINS!!"
