So I'm listening to the podcast about this program yesterday and she says a 8 day ticket including water parks is $208.

Is this too good to be true? Can my ridiculously too large for Disney family get tickets for THAT cheap?

By the time we go again(Maybe next year if this is for real) my kids will be 11, 10, 9, 7, 4, 2. So Only 4 of my kids can go to any of the programs...I went to the website and put in their info and it seemed like it was going to allow me to purchase tickets for my whole family for $208 each(or $172 one park per day) even though not everyone could do the program.

So if you read all my rambling.

Is this right? Pay $1300 for tickets for EIGHT days for my HUGE family? Is this a dream come true or am I misunderstanding something?

YUP! We just did it and got our tickets for that price also!:thumbsup2

The tickets are only good for certain days - two weeks I believe.

Wow. Thanks. This is so exciting! This is way better than paying $119(plus tax) for the 4 day ticket that usually comes out in the beginning of the year for Fl. Residents. I was afraid our Disney days were coming to an end when we have to pay for 6 tickets. Yikes. But since I found out how to rent from Bonnet Creek and now this we can still go to Disney! :dance3:

One more thing. Is the individual enrollment only in the summer months? It doesn't say year round like the other one.. I don't remember if she said that on the show or not. Right now you can only enrolled through Oct. So is that when it ends? Not a deal breaker, since Sept. is our favorite time to go since the crowds are low.

When I booked the girls youth Programs in May, October wasn't available yet. It was added later. I asked the cast member when we went and he told me that it was all year long, but in the winter months it was mostly on the week ends.... this is one cast members answer.......:)

Thanks! I guess I will just watch it. It would be ideal to be able to go again in May before my 3 year old's pass expires so we would only have to get 6 tickets. I just can't wrap my head around 8 days for less than $1100.

I have tried to do this for my DS that last couple of years, but we just never seem to go at the right time to be able to take advantage of it. There tends to be a long gap in between what I consider summer, i.e. - no classes were offered this year from mid-May to mid-June. :guilty: The savings would be FABULOUS! ;)

WE have done this program for several years. It has been in January/Feb and again in October when they have done the individual enrollment programs to coinside with there Homeschooling Days. This past summer they have added extra dates to the program in the summer etc.

The procedure is changing as the programs get more popular. The ticket lengths are getting shorter as the first year I got 10 day tickets. This past year 8 day tickets were the max days you could buy. WE have AP's now so we have to just buy the one day ticket.

They are now making sure that you attend the classes or will charge you the full ticket price. There seemed to be a lot of abuse this past year with people just enrolling to get the lower priced tickets. The rules keep changing as a result of the popluarity. You use to be able to buy tickets for everyone in your party as long as one child was in the classes. It seems that they have reduced the number of extra tickets you can get. There is a great thread about this on the budget board so you can keep track of the changes and get some reviews of the programs.

My DD has done the Wild By Design at AK; Ocean Discovery at EPCOt; How Things Move at MK; World of Physics: Energy and Waves MK (this is the Haunted Mansion one); and Synergy in Science at Epcot.

Some have been better than others. The ones at the younger age groups were not quite as busy/hectic as the older age group programs. Each park seems to have their own team of YES facilitators. (The Living Seas castmembers work the education booths at the pivilion during the day, as I saw our leader with a skull out on our last trip.) The AK program gave us the ear peices so we could hear. We are going to try the American Adventure when we are down in October.

Let me know if I can answer any other questions that you have.

Sorry OT. Just wanted to add that I love your avatar! :rotfl:
