We did the Animation Class and loved it. I will admit it was tough getting up that early (had to report at 7:45am) the day after getting off a four night cruise but thankful to have the opportunity. It was cool seeing HS empty and taking a few "behind the scenes" paths. Looking forward to our next trip and our next Y.E.S. class (and maybe a little more time on the Dream).

Oh, we had 8 day park hoppers plus 8 fun visits. We used all but 2 of the fun visits. It was our first time doing water parks and Disney Quest. We loved them all. Wish we had another week- oh, well, I guess we will just have to go back!!

HELP PLEASE! Need to know what time AK's Wild By nature goes until. DH is doing class with 2 older kids at 8:30 so need to know about what time I can expect them to be done . Need to know so I can plan stuff for me and the 4 y.o. to do whilre they are at the class. Thanks!

Oh good glad to hear that you enjoyed it! My ds12 and I will be doing this class next week. We will have a rental car and be driving from CSR to HS. Do you think 30 mins. will be enough time to get there and get parked? We are not really excited about getting up that early either since we will be going to MNSSHP that evening. However, we're really excited about it and hopefully be able to sneak a little nap in later.:thumbsup2

I have a question. I have a 9 year old DD who would love to attend a YES class, but I have a 4 year old DS who is too young. If I'm travelling alone with the two kids can DD attend without me? Or can DS come too without being an actual registered participant in the class (like if I have to be there as a chaperone for DD?).

I'd love to take advantage of this wonderful program, but being the only adult, not sure if it will work!?

TIA

Please CONFIRM that YES tickets can be picked up after 4pm SOMEWHERE at WDW. I just spoke with CM Stephanie in the YES office and she could only confirm pickup until 4pm. She finally said it might be possible but she wasn't allowed to provide any further information past a 4pm pick-up. She said that while Will Call windows may be open, there may not be anyone there that knows how to issue their special tickets.

What have your experiences been, please?

There was a PP who said they picked theirs up late in the evening at DTD!

We picked our tickets up from Downtown Disney late on a Saturday night. I don't remember exact time but I know it was after 7pm. There are two locations Downtown. One near Disney Quest and the other is in the Marketplace (I want to say somewhere near Team Mickey and Once Upon a Toy).

We had a rental car coming from Windsor Hills. I think we left about 30 mins. and got there with plenty time to spare. We got there around 7:30. We were not sure about meeting place. We went through security and were looking around for meeting place (we did not go through ticket area). We finally saw flagpole. It was back on the other side of security. So don't go through secruity look for flag near water.

We also did a nap and went to MNSSHP! Worked out great. Of course next day we started out a little later:lmao:

DD participated in a class last month. Looking
ahead to next year. I know dates for next Fall
won't be released for awhile.

Curious if they offered individual enrollment for
October this year .....

Yes, they had several dates in October.

I had the exact same question and kept getting different responses from different people, so I posted a thread about it and got some good responses:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2808928

It seems that we shoudl be able to pick them up at any ticket window.

Thank you to everyone who has posted such valuable information in this thread! My children are now enrolled in a program on January 10th..we can't wait!

I see they already have 2012 dates thru Dec up! We weren't able to go to one this year at WDW, but I want to sign DS up for one at DLR next year when we go.

Disney's World of Physics: Energy & Waves is for 8-11 and my son will be just 1 month shy of his 8th birthday. Do you think this will be okay? I know he'd love that one.

Also, do you have to pay now? What if you need to cancel? This is over a year away! And if I don't see the ticket options we want, like 6 day hoppers, do I just call instead?

:goodvibes

Thinking of booking YES and free dining for Feb 2012, question is, I know I have to buy at least 2 day tickets to get free dining. Will I be able to get actual tickets for these 2 day tickets to use for a future trip or are they loaded onto your hotel room key card? I haven't done a package deal in awhile, but I thought I saw guests using their key cards as tickets last time I was there.
