My husband and I went to a few yard sales Saturday morning and guess what I found. A VHS tape of Song of the South!! We watched it tonight and it was great. I also have the Sing along Song of the South video. It goes well with my Brer Rabbit book from long ago.

That is great!! I love my DVD of Song of the South, it's always been a favorite of mine. :) That and the Jungle Book were my absolute faves when I was a kid.

That's one of my earliest movie memories! My Pop-Pop would take us to a movie every Easter and it was usually a Disney double feature.I got such a kick out of Briar Rabbit!

That's awesome!

I've yet to see the video. Is it an edited version? Or is there even an edited version??:confused3

great find! :thumbsup2 I've found a few fun disney things over the years. a set of black glass coasters featuring scenes from the magic kingdom and a large frosted glass tiki head class with the class Polynesian logo on it. They look just like the ones they have no except they are frosted. :) I love finding disney stuff at yard sales!

I am green with envy, I have been trying to get a copy for years even had someone promise to make me a copy but the never did. Congratulations on such a grand find.

Several weeks ago I went on a bus trip to some thrift stores and what did I find but a never used 5x7 wooden Mickey picture frame at less than half the cost if you were to purchase them while at Disney. I plan to put a picture of my deceased husband being harrassed by the Fairy Godmother on our 35th anniversary dinner. I was to tickled, just as I am sure you were, guess I will have to start going to some garage sales.

Congrats on your great find, lucky thing you!

Just found a site to order a copy, hope it is not a rip off, soon will find out I guess.

The Song of the South has never been released in the US, although it has been released in other countries. I'm guessing you bought an illegal bootleg.
