Disney Y.E.S. Program

Good morning everyone,

Well Disney has yet again annoyed me. I just got off the phone with a CM at the individual program and he told me I can't get the tickets mailed.

They will send an e-mail 30 days out with a number that I can link to my account which should give me fp+ ressies. However, I read on here where one person called 60 days out and they gave her the confirmation number so she could book.

I went ahead and booked the class and I am just going to hope for the best with being able to make reservations like everyone else.

The class is perfect for my daughter and the cost difference was about $275.00 I saved buying the tickets through this program.

I am going to call Disney IT next week and speak with them. I am not going till August so there is some time. I will keep you posted.

I don't think I have ever heard of YES tickets being mailed, just the confirmation number to link for MDE.

They used to mail the tickets a long time ago (we got ours mailed a couple years ago) but the stopped.

They emailed me my confirmation early upon request so I could book my FP+ at the 60 day mark. This was around 2 months ago so I doubt they've changed their policy. Just email and ask.

How far in advance did you email them, and how quickly did they respond? I emailed them on Monday; I haven't heard back but I still have over 100 days before my trip.

I emailed them I guess it was around 70 days before my trip. They only opened up the Y.E.S. classes that close to to my trip. I was waiting until just before my 60 day mark to buy my tickets with the hopes of a class and was very happy to see that they were offering them.

I think I got the confirmation within a couple days. If I remember correctly it took a couple emails back and forth before I ended up getting it.

I'm sort of wondering whether I should sign up my son for "how things move," although I wasn't planning to go to the MK that day. He'd like it, I think. On the other hand, we're going to be there the last week before he starts school. Maybe I should let him just be on vacation.

My son did How Things Move and he LOVED it! I think it could be a fun way to get son in gear for learning again at school in a fun way!

Anybody have any reviews on the energy and waves physics lab? I'm thinking of signing up my 8 and 11 year old for the class.

I wanted How things move but that class isn't offered right now for my September dates.

I didn't read through the whole thread. Just wondering if the YES tickets can get linked to the magic bands? Going with my Girl Scout troop.

There's an option to search within the thread; it might be worthwhile when you're not willing to read the whole thing.

People have been able to link individual YES tickets either at the 30 day window when they are delivered or by emailing in advance. The consensus on group tickets seems to be that they are not linkable; at least not until arrival.
