Disney Y.E.S. Program

Older two did the Marine class at Epcot on Monday. Dh took them and they had fun.

Yesterday I took youngest to the same class but for his younger level. He really liked it.

I am so thankful for these classes and these price discounts. I sure am hoping they continue.

Dh's work is starting to send them to Orlando every first week of November and it is nice to tag along and get great rates on tickets. I suppose we will still come even if it costs more, but we may make changes on the number of days to accommodate the price increase.

Oh this is so disappointing, we just decided yesterday to go the first week in June and I was really hoping my DDs could go to a class and I could save on tickets for the family. Looks like if I am not out of luck on the time I will be on the savings:(

My daughter did the photography course at Epcot In August. We found out about it late and it was this or the marine conservation that were still open. Anyway she went by herself and looked to be the only one without a partner. My DH was not in Orlando yet and I needed to stay with my younger kids. She paired up with another girl about her age and had an awesome time. They rode Spaceship Earth, and learned great basic techniques for taking good photos. She totally loved it and my other daughter wanted to try it this year too. Bummer unfortunately are vacation times are not flexible. UGH.

I just did a mock purchase and the same 8 day premium tickets for our family of 6 will be $1,795 as opposed to $1,320 last year. WOWSERS!!! We really have to think about this. I'm glad to finally have all the information now so we can decide.

Do we know how many tickets can be purchased at the going price? I have a family of 6 and trying to figure it out.

I did a mock up for my family of 8 but only 1 attending and it worked so I would think you are ok.

And I am really sad that the marine science cut off is so low :( DS 17 really wanted to take that class.

Is my computer glitching? I plug in our dates, which shows the programs available during that time, but when I select a program and hit continue, it just refreshes that same page.

Got it to work. About a $260 savings off regular tickets, but looks to be about $300 more than last year for 2 adults and 2 kids, 8 day park hopper. Still planning on doing the class, but won't be super sad if they sell out before I make a decision.

Thanks shelly2u!:worship:
The link I have for the new YES website still isn't showing prices.

From what I can tell, the children's tickets still have a significant discount, but the adults attending a class are only $1.50 cheaper than UT w/ the mousesavers link. Interestingly, adults NOT attending a class are cheaper still (I think it was $20?). Looks like Disney still wants you to purchase through them, as opposed to a ticket broker, even if the adult isn't attending a class.

Also note that there are specific ages listed on this enrollment page. The other one only had age guidelines. This page has specifics and there was only one class available my week for my 6 year old.

I think my kids will love these classes and it will be a nice addition to our trip! So excited!!

It worked on my iPhone, but not my desktop. How odd is that? But the important thing is I have the tickets! It was about $180 more than I think it would have been last year, but still a good bit cheaper than if I bought them from Disney.

I signed up my older daughters (9 and 8) for the Discovering Marine Life Conservation class on Jan 30. DH will take them.

6 Students and 4 adults in the fine print. The deep discount around $100/ticket is only for the student attending the class. The adult prices are just a little below Undercover Tourist.

I'm frustrated because we are arriving at noon via plane on Homeschool Day, so can't take advantage of the deeper discounts by only a couple of hours...but still pleased with some sort of discount and a cool educational opportunity for my kiddo.

I think the only way it's worth it for us is getting the waterpark package but ehh. Not sure I want the hassle of it just for waterparks. I do think its a good deal if you have young enough children to participate. I only have one that qualifies as a 9 and under attending child. Bummer.

Just purchased 6 tickets; four kids and two adults. About $400 more expensive than two years ago. Still saved about $500 of gate price. Thanks for posting when this went live.

If I gor my 15 to go to a class--would that make her ticket cheaper?

I wish that it was possible for me and my DH to take the kids---wondering how that would work. Could I sign up with kid and let him sign up with the other--so we could both get the ticket discount--or are there no discounts for th adults? This is so confusing!

It is cheaper for him NOT to take the class. They charge extra for it. I almost sent my teens without me.

It cost $12 extra for the attending adult

And yes. Sent the 15 year old. :)
