The new contract was voted down by Disney World employees.

I thought so too. I was surprised it got voted down. Seems basically most union leaders were backing it.

So.............think you can predict when enough of the workers will vote to pass it and the date and time that will happen?

I'll be surprised if the higher rates for the monorail workers survives. Disney has been setting the stage for these negotiations for a while.

That said......During my interview in 1997, I litterally told Disney that they would not have to pay me.

So, I can see what Corey was talking about on this week's show. For me, the joy and experience are worth more than the money.

Yes, joy and experience is great. But can it pay the bills?
Being a great cast member is great, but at the end of the day, it is a job. Most people (yes, there are exceptions) work to get money to cover living expenses.

that is too bad, the $100 bonus for it passing on the first vote would have been helpful for some families with Christmas coming up.

Here's hoping it is resolved fast.
